The Larry Discrepancy

Something strange happened with larry. On his PTB everyone was talking about how super duper fun and rewarding he was, and how EMPs just needed a few changes and he'd be perfect. Like seriously everyone was treating him like peak design like they were all gonna main him when he came out... then he did and all the sudden everyone hated him. What changed? he was no different from the PTB, why did everyone suddenly think he was a boring useless M1 killer with a gimmick?

Very few take PTB serious and no console players. Against real teams he can be very weak. Fun does not equal wins and after a while losing multiple games in a row negates any "Fun".

He reached the Singularity of every killer concept, ie the wider, living-breathing player base, thats so big and diverse, with staggering amount of varying skill levels, that no predictions beyond this point can be made, like I said, a proper singularity event horizon.

    The Singularity is A tier.

Any non-console player has NO right to complain about his strength. Cut the copium and admit that you just aren't good enough to play the damn killer.

Singularity is arguably the third hardest killer to play and master. (Blight > Hillbilly > Singularity).

If you don't like playing him, just say so. But just because you can't get kills doesn't mean that Larry lacks anything.

In fact, I'd argue he'd still be relatively powerful in his PTB state. I was worried about a nerf when it was going live, and was very surprised with a buff.

Woof, someone got a lil angry there. Never said my opinion on him, just wondered why everyone else 180d <3

    nice assumption though!

the problem is that the PTB is completely useless for seeing if something will be good/bad or strong or weak.

For one he's not console friendly so that will make him underplayed by a large amount of players and playing him properly is much harder than most killers for an alright reward

In simple terms: He was fun to play when survivors didn't understand him well. Now that everyone has figured out how to counter him, it has become a nightmare.

Looking at the stats on certain websites, we can see that he has a lower kill rate than the Trickster, making him statistically the least deadly killer in the game.

He is a very difficult killer to play and too easy to counter.
