Why do Flashlights still work on Nemesis' Zombies

I know his zombies aren't the main part of his power, but i was curious if there's any reason this still works, especially due to the fact that we have been moving away from items effecting killers powers for a while.

I honestly don't know I've gotten to the point of running Franklin's or killing the beamer

I ""guess"" one of these 2.

1º Nemis "power" is the wip wich is unnafected by flashlights, and zombies are an extra passive.

    2º They forgor.

I would bet for option 2.

Probably because they would be a little too annoying if they weren’t. Given that pallets aren’t infinite, nor are their nearby presence a given, there needs to be some way to counter their effect on an area. Last I stunned one, the stun didn’t really last that long anyway.

Like Phantom_ said, they’re still broadcasting info even if stunned. It’s even better than the arms stretched out silhouette since no one flashlight stuns a zombie if they aren’t staying right there in the area. Who knows what the chase animation zombies are after - they might have just seen a squirrel.

I think they would be too oppressive if they couldn’t be blinded. Which makes me think they should add more basekit counterplay to them and then remove the ability to blind them kinda like what they did with Hag. Pallet stuns are an option but that’s often extremely inefficient/not reasonable if there isn’t a pallet nearby.

I do think the devs separating counterplay from items is a good thing in general. As such, I’d also like to see maps lose the ability to track killer-specific objects like bear traps. (And maps could use some other changes too while they’re at it, to make them better.)

Likely intended but I prefer flashlights working on zombies because it would honestly be stupid if it didn't. Zombies are just a passive component of the power and they're annoying. They have eyes anyway so it makes sense.

there is base-kit counter-play to the zombies. there's little trick where you can steer a zombie then run behind it and AI loses you and starts wandering away. if nemesis has zombie speed add-on, it takes very little time to do it as you can steer zombie away from gen and then lose it.. it is somewhere between 10-25 seconds to outplay zombie. I am honestly not sure if it should work that way since it makes his zombies really weak and non-existent ability.
