Whats your offmeta builds?

Builds you use just because they are fun, or effective in an entirely different way. Or maybe you just like the perks or synergies. What build do you use when you just wanna mess around?

Hillbilly with Enduring, Spirit Fury, Bamboozle and Infectious Fright. While not necessarily "not meta" for Billy, using no slowdown on him is incredibly fun and creates close games.

For survivor, I really like the perk Red Herring. Helps a lot in three gen situations and is quite a fun perk overall. Usually I use it with Quick and Quiet, Head on and Prove Thyself.

Sloppy, A Nurse's Calling, STBFL or Bamboozle, Deathbound or Hex: Face the Darkness, all on Sadako while NOT going for condemns (AKA no Iri Tape/Ring Drawing). Intentionally hit a bunch of people early, and it basically tests whether they have heal perks or not. If they don't, they lose, if they do, they stand a fighting chance. If you bring Face the Darkness, you wanna leave the first person after you injure them, and find someone else to chase afterwards.

Edit: This was my adaptation from a soloq Sadako GOD I faced. Her map awareness was unmatched, and Nurse's allowed her to soft check areas before committing.

This is why I run Calm Spirit on my main build lmao. It's lowkey capable of getting you out of positions that other survivors would fall to (such as H:FtD or any source of screaming). I've routinely been the last survivor simply because the killer is blind to my position most of the time

As survivor I've been messing with Fixated + Lightweight, it's been quite fun and surprisingly useful.

I mostly run off meta builds anyway.

My most fun build is SB, Blastmine, Flashbang and Residual manifest. Although it's easily mitigated by Lightborn. Still...it's a pretty chad move to escape with a single perk. I just need to perfect it and become better at flashlights and flashbangs.

My other fun build is 3 perks dedicated to totem cleansing like small game (for easy tracking), Counterforce for speed and either Inner Healing or Overzealous. Just want the satisfaction of negating NOED plays but like all curses on DBD when you bring a certain perk that counters another perk or playstyle you rarely come across it. Plus most of the time you're throwing the game if you're prioritizing totems over gens. But I'll still run it from time to time. You just need to adapt to the circumstances I guess.

    Survivor Build I use is,

    Lightweight

    Iron Will

    Sole Survivor or Lucky Break

    Flashbang or Distortion

It helps me evade chases and get back to gens quickly. Because my teammates do not do gens.

As killer I run Machine learning, PWYF, rancor and game afoot. I am speed.

Small Game + Inner Healing + Clairvoyance + Overzealous. How much stuff can I get from one totem?

Distortion + Distraction + Red Herring + Diversion. Maximum false flags.

    Wiretap/Blast Mine/Parental Guidance

    So long, suckers!

Survivor: Distortion - Leader - Desperate Measures - Balanced --- Leader gotta be one of my fav perks. And without Distortion I feel naked.

Killer (Nemo): Spies - No Way Out - Plaything - Pentimento ---- mostly because of how scary it is to just hear the "stomp stomp stomp" when a Nemo without TR comes up to you 😂That aside; Spies is pretty useful and between Penti and NWO you usually have enough opportunity to tier up and get hooks.

Renewal - We'll Make It - Empathy - Botany Knowledge + 40 charge Medkit = Makes rescuing and healing others fun, Medkit can only be used on other survivors not yourself, high risk to not get hooked before you can charge Renewal.

Stake Out - Distraction - Fogwise - Hyperfocus + Toolbox (Commodious) = Makes doing gens fun and high risk, plus bonus for charging pebble alongside your skillchecks.

Lethal Pursuer - Nowhere To Hide - BBQ & Chili - I'm All Ears = Ultimate wallhacks, always know where everyone is, brilliant on stealth killers like Pig, Ghostface, Myers and Wraith. Great for managing the meta game.

Agitation - Mad Grit - Iron Grasp - Play With Your Food = Sabo-squad counter and super speedy, catch those bully squads off guard. Again good on stealth killers so you can play an unpredictable hit and run game.

Distressing - Unnerving Presence - Sloppy Butcher - Coulrophobia + Double Calm add ons on Doctor = No heals for you and good luck with gens. Using Static Blast only twice to locate and infect survivors initially to get a lead, then capitalise on your massive TR afterwards. Though if you do use Static Blast, you get a 18m TR while it's on cooldown so can pull off some semi-stealthy plays.

Ok...so i like Reactive Healing, ever since it came out. It's just not meta at all now with Sloppy Bitcher being meta though. That's about it.

My "off meta" build consists of plunderers instinct, ace in the hole, open handed, and light-weight. It's kinda bad, but useful when you get something good from chests.

Saboteur, yui's wiggle perk, dead hard and delivarence/ds is my survivor off meta build. I also use saboteur toolbox in that.
