I hook suicide in this scenario and I think it's noble

If there are only two of us Survivors left and the exit gates aren't powered, then I do it to give my fellow teammate a shot for the hatch.

That's the generally agreed upon action.

I do it too in that scenario. If the game can't be saved with just two of us then prolonging it is pointless. Combination of giving other survivor a chance at hatch, and me just wanting to go to the next game rather than waste time in a game that's over.

Everyone does that. Why would you give the killer a 4k for free if there's a slight chance your teammate can make it out alive?

Well yeah it often makes sense in this scenario especially if your partner is on death hook or injured making the hook save really unsafe.

Shortening time the killer has to find them is a good play if you wan them to get out.

Hence why slugging for the 4 k can be a good choice, you maximize your time as killer and remove the threat of hatch escape.
