[Solution] How to make DBD fun again

How many times have to lost a game due to unskilled teammates?

How many times have you spent 10 minutes looking for those 2 last survivors stealthing around?

How many times you had to wait the whole EGC timer while a survivor goes afk in a locker?

How many times you kept a killer in chase for 2 minutes, but no one did any gen and you get camped to death?

What if I'd tell you there is a way to fix all that?

Introducing: VALUE SCORE

Every survivor will have a VALUE SCORE that will increase based on how well they play. (It will not have milestones like the flawed design of the Emblem System, instead, every single POINT will matter)

A steady income of SCORE over a longer period of time will come from Chase Time and Repairing Gens, while other activities such as Cleansing a Hex, Palet/Flashlight Saves, etc., would reward a lot of POINTS over a very short period of time.

The survivor with the most VALUE SCORE gets the title of "MVP" and a guaranteed escape. For example:

-If the last survivor standing is the MVP an animation plays where the hatch spawns and the survivor escapes through it.

-If the last survivor standing is not the MVP the entity will sacrifice them.

-If the MVP survivor has already been sacrificed an animation will play where the soul of the MVP survivor will escape through the hatch.

This MVP victory will be the main way to advance in MMR, while the old "Escape" condition will still count, it will only have a fraction of its former MMR gain. To encourage survivors to do their best there would also be incentives such as a BP multiplier based on how high your VALUE SCORE is and perhaps a Iridescent Shard reward for your first MVP of the day.

PS: If you find this idea interesting please let others know, I believe we can make DBD fun for both sides.

----------------------------------------------------------

TLDR: DBD suffers from a lot of time-consuming issues on the killer side, along with the feeling of "unfair loses" on the survivor side. We could fix both with the solution I'm going over in this post which will introduce a Score system that will keep track of survivor performance and compare it with their teammates. At the end of the match, the survivor with the highest score gets marked as the MVP and gets a hatch escape (even if already sacrificed).

playing survivor is a team based game that’s kinda the downside for survivor and tbh nobody should be given anything

maybe at most you should get guaranteed a pip with the vip thing if this were to happen but no guarantee escapes
