New tome has made me realize just how awful Singularity is to play

After one of the hotfixes that broke a bunch of Singularity's addons, I took bit of a break from him until the midchapter, considering all of his addon descriptions were fixed and there was the new Tome focused on him, I decided to pick him back up, partially to complete the new tome and because I wanted to see if I could get better with him,

And oh man have I had some of the worst games of my life, I've dealt with losing streaks as killer before, but never have I felt so completely helpless as a killer. Games where my power is completely nullified by the map design or by EMPs is staggering, I go through a huge mental struggle just to set up cameras only to have it all be for naught because of a SINGLE EMP.

I'm actually kind of upset with how little fun I'm having with Hux now, I genuinely love his theme and aesthetic, but I don't know if I can really put myself through the pain of playing him, even after all the EMP nerfs, he still feels completely useless to me, I'm not exactly sure what the community's sentiments are on him, but I can't understand how anyone thinks he's fine right now, I really hope he's due for more changes, because this is sad.

    I try not to, I usually just either put a few down near objectives or high-traffic areas and the rest I use in chase, so sometimes they can bunch up. The issue isn't really multiple pods being disabled, it just feels like survivors have EMPS ready constantly.

    I just got him yesterday and he feels fine on pc. He's a little awkward at first but after a few games he started feeling smooth. I will say tho that getting indoor maps makes his power basically unusable like even compared to billy and such, you are actually just a m1 killer on lerys.

    He is very inconsistent for me. I normally feel competitive with killers but never sure with Singularity.

    There were several streamers saying he is very map dependent. That may be the core issue for him after all.

    I only heard rumors about Lerys until yesterday when I was sent there.

    It was abysmal.

    I got one kill and then for some reason one of the survivors decided to hang around rather than just leave (maybe looking for hatch?). I caught them thanks to coup to grace.

    The only killer that can consistently do well in Lerys is Nurse, for obvious reasons. Trapper is decent, if the survivors are very slow doing gens. If the survivor group has any game sense whatsoever, Lerys is typically a hellhole for killers.

    Singularity is generally relegated to being a noob stomper. Matches you win are ones you don't really need to rely on biopods much at all, and just M1 it. Any above-noob survivor group has at least three EMPs ready to go at all times, making both the biopods and slipstream useless.

    If you have the Singularity, just get your achievements done and mothball it until it gets buffed. That's what most people have done, which is why you never see one in public trials.
