Same, DBD is so stale that it makes story games I have played countless times feel brand new. You literally cannot save your solo queue teammates from condemned and you can't even find a working TV since every Onryo spam teleports.

But yes, currently she is busted.
Its funny right? The constant argument I see is contradictory

2: Shes an M1 killer, with no chase, just loop and escape

Taking advantage of solo queue having no communication...? Since survivors can't say where they got knocked, they are left to bleed out because of Knock Out. The more time survivors spend looking for the slugged person, the less time they have on generators. It's especially annoying on larger maps. It also lets Onryo focus on less targets to condemn so they can spam their teleports.

That isn’t “taking advantage of”. That’s literally just normal game play. The game is balanced around solo queue, aka not having that info. You act like it’s something nefarious. The entire point of knock out IS to deny info. The fact that it takes extra time away from generators to find the survivor is entirely the point of the perk and slugging, that’s it’s intended job. You make it sound like slugging is toxic or something.
It’s extra annoying on larger maps yes but those larger maps are also the worst maps for killer in general, so an even trade at least.
I don’t see the issue.

There is no all of the sudden, slugging 4 people never has been toxic. What people are referencing is leaving them all to bleed out while he stands there. That is two VERY different things.

Hooking once you have all 4 survivors downed is different than hooking at every down. The former happens every single match, if they’re slugging at all that is.
Bleeding the whole team out I will agree is toxic. However that is almost never happening, like ever. Waiting to hook till they’re on the ground is not toxic as he isn’t dragging the game out to be mean, he’s only doing it for strategy and to slow the gens down while building pressure.

Oh but it is. The current wave of "Sadako mains" are taking advantage of the non communication/non-coordination of a slug trap. And there's really no counter play.
Its like imagine a killer in the end game with 2 survivors left. Slugs one but is nowhere near or has no idea/no information perks, nothing, to where the last survivor is.
What makes Sadako in particular worse for this is, she never had to interact with a hook mechanic or a generator regress/patrol mechanic the entire match. She just needs info, which she only needs to run as perks now, and then its all downhill for survivors there. And thats why its so toxic. Where other killers actually risk something from leaving a slugged survivor, Sadako just gains.

I mean, yeah those are both valid complaints. Her power is pretty much useless in a chase, and if you just grab a tape early, she cant passively condemn you, so she HAS to chase you and hit you. Then you just treat her like an oni, you just drop the damn pallet while you teammates work on gens.

This is an extremely broad definition of toxic. You’re essentially calling anything toxic that you just don’t like or is strong for the killer. The vast majority of the population do not use things like that to describe toxic.
A killer slugging at end game with 2 survivors left while he looks for the last survivor is not toxic lol, that’s literally just smart. He’s won the match so he wants the 4K. I see no issue with this as survivor. He’s not trying to make anyone mad or ruin someone’s day, he’s literally just doing the smartest play. It’s like being mad at him for not playing bad lol.
To say there’s not counter play to Sadako slugging is just objectively a false statement btw.
You make it sound like slugging as Sadako is just an easy free win. She is literally an m1 killer with no anti loop, a bad stealth and a map traversal survivors can control. Like what more do you want? She’s literally trash in every aspect that makes a good killer good other than her condemn. For you to be getting chain slugged both you and your team would have to be getting outplayed over and over again against basically a trapper with no traps rofl. Essentially if she’s actually pulling that off y’all are either having a very, very bad game or the killer is just way more skilled than your team and probably deserves the win.
Slugging is not risky because they’re playing Sadako? What? She literally risked all that time chasing to potentially gain nothing if she fails at it, ie gens popping. She risks just like other killers when going for slugs.

Slugging because she can global condemn and just info find the other survivors. Shes not punished or at a disadvantage for slugging. Other killers would lose their target and or not find anyone else. She can teleport you know ? Right back to the person she slugged, or in the general vicinity. And its 10 seconds on CD. Other killers would have to traverse back.
As for the whole M1 talking point:
Its easy to zone out and kill survivors regardless of what killer it is. Wanna say that plague cant do it? Shes worse than Sadako is at this by a metric mile. But you still get M1 hits regardless.
This is what doesnt make sense and why I mentioned it earlier. Everyone says "Ohhhhh just grab a tape"
but in the next breath they go "oohhhh shes M1, just loop her its easy".
You realize how contradictory those two statements are to one another right?

Yeah that's what Onryos do though. They'll slug you until you bleed or they condemn you for an easy mori. Had one pull it off with ZERO hooks.

Just because you don't experience it, it doesn't invalidate it. Matter of fact there's no point bringing that up because it's useless. if it can happen, it will. It certainly happens to me.

Bhvr made people stop playing wesker for a week and people know want a nerf to the replacement, I know onryo is on the stronger side atm but it seems a good way to show that people didn't had an issue with wesker because they wanted variety, people just don't want to face good killers.

Any m1 in a semi good setup has to drop a chase or bloodlust, that is if the survivor is at the very least sentient and has played more than 3 hours.
However I may say like 90% of soloq players have no idea whats going on, I have downed people on the game safe room and on GoJ main as dredge, no survivor that can think should have let that happen EVER.

If she spams teleport it’s tough to find a tape because you can only retrieve them from active TVs. Obviously when she hits you while holding a tape you receive condemn & the tape breaks. What I’ve observed is that they’ll go back to spamming her teleport which makes it difficult to find an active TV so you can retrieve a tape. And mind you three other people are looking as well.

Sadako is a bit tuned up in condemned, yes, but everyone is acting like she's the new skull merchant and as someone who bought, learned, and struggled through the game as old sadako this is just a mess. Guarantee most people who complain never bothered with her tapes before and now that it's a hard requirement it's too much for them.
She's not hard to counter, you hold a tape and loop. And it's not contradictory to say that, it's two steps.

Slugging everyone is something most every toxic killer does, or killers that feel it is necessary in the match, Sadako is no exception to this.
And if I see anyone else bring up her old stats, may I remind you all where nurse sat on those charts and I still see people calling for her nerfs.
And before I get called out as a defender I've made change propositions that have been said to 'kill' Sadako by other defenders. Such as:
Condemned only Mori's on death hook and instadowns on max, with other effects as the ring fills up.
Cut tape-slap to one condemned stack.
Give Sadako more chase power if she's nerfed down, say being able to go through pallets and wooden doorways while demanifested at a 1%-2% slowdown in speed.
Tie condemned to her cooldown and not the teleport.
My main point being the hysteria around her new changes are only because nobody is willing to learn her counterplay because they were so used to BMing every Sadako because they could get away with it before since she had no chase power and no pressure unless she had decently placed TVs and perk combinations, as well as the slug condemn build.

Its a flawed concept that people are now catching up on how to play as her the most effective way
Its almost impossible as a 4SWF and impossible in solo queue

Her iri add-ons definitely need to be either removed or reworked entirely.
You literally can't if she's running double iri add-ons, like the game I had against her on Red Forest the other night. Pure cancer.
Slugging every survivor and refusing to hook anyone until all 4 players are down may not be inherently "toxic" but it is objectively and unnecessarily sweaty and boring. And you are ignoring/denying an entire aspect of the game by doing so and denying not only Altruism points for the survivors but also extra hook points for yourself. So while it's not against the rules or anything, you also have no right to get upset when other players give you the smoke for it afterwards.

Its actually not that tough, because the tv is only off for 45 seconds when she TPs to it, so as long as you stay in the general area of one, its a good shot that it'll pop back up in 10-20 seconds unless she JUST teleported. In which case, why are you trying to grab a tape while she is nearby?

The only addon that needs changing is the green one that tells you when someone grabbed a tape. If they reworked that one to do something else it would be much harder for her to do a pure condemn style build because she has to keep track of a TON of stuff.

The Onyro Ability Reworkd is ok for me though.
But 1 things need to change, which is letting survivor to see all the TV aura.
To counter her ability, we need to get a tape. But we can't see TV aura, which waste the hell of our time to search it.

to me, the only thing she needs is to change how iri tape works, and remove her god DAMN LULLABY!!!! iri tape is the one addon that makes the playstyle so boring or so frustrating to go against, since her rework is NOT supposed to be played like how she was originally because it would be crazy strong, well, this is why its crazy strong lol. just nerf/rework iri tape and remove her lullaby so she can be an actual stealth killer and she'll be good to go

They can also see which tv was turned off so they know were you grabbed a tape from and can tp to the next closest tv

How does a survivor know if Sadako recently teleported to a specific TV they see? Is there some sort of tell? I’m asking because you said it should pop on in 10-20 seconds but only if she hasn’t ‘just’ used it. I didn’t see anything in the patchnotes about signs that indicate to survivors how much longer a TV has on cooldown.

She's not SM 2.0, or even old condemned Sadako; the games end quickly.
I am sort of a Sadako main, but never really played for condemnation moris. But today I played three games with the iri tape and mothers' comb and went for it, and holy crap it was easy. So easy it felt dirty.
What's more, two of the three times the team immediately started grabbing tapes (what you should do) and kept grabbing them. They did exactly what they should have. The only difference was the games ended at 2 gens instead of 4.
I also hate that as a Sadako enjoyer, I'm not going to be able to play legit games without DCs and salty survs right off the bat.
I don't want BHVR to nerf her into the ground, but while she needed to be buffed, this wasn't the way.

Yeah, she should have her lullaby removed. Once they added the visual TR, her stealth was crippled.
I'm assuming they walk these recent changes back quite a bit, but you have give her something (but fair) in return.

the only reason why people are calling her so strong is because of iri tape & mothers comb being the best addon combo for her. mothers comb is fine, but iri tape isn't. it applies too much pressure THAT i agree with, but if we change iri tape she NEEDS to have better chase potential and her lullaby removed, or else she's gonna go back to being D tier

I would generally agree with you, but I play way, way more than the average player. Like way more than a full time job worth of time and that amount of time consistently for 6 years. The likelihood of that actually being a common thing and me just happening to never have it happen is extremely unlikely.

you can tell which is turned off by when TV aura goes from highlighted to teleport to turned off. mother comb is training wheel add-on. it helps you learn a particular skill with Sadako.

The Mori is not easy. It requires you to have ignored her tapes or done them inefficiently as well as failing in chase multiple times. The fact of zero hooks is irrelevant. What is relevant is how long it took her to condemn you, how effective you were in chase and how efficiently you were managing tapes.

According to what statistics may I ask? You are one person out of thousands that play the game. Time zones also exist. Dedicated servers exist. There are many influences upon matchmaking and not being able to see killer mains do what they do best is a result of that. Perhaps you are higher MMR than me and face pubsomper killers that don't resort to cheap tactics? Perhaps you play with a SWF and don't realize the impact Onryo leaves on solo queue? There's too much assuming which means there's too much influence to be able to determine probability.
