Scene Partner - Rework
Scene partner is not a perk for the survivor. It is a hindererance, as is.
I just bought Nic cage and had one match, using Scene Partner.
I looped the killer and left the loop. I looked back to see if he was following me and he wasn't, he was still going around the loop... until... until Nic Cage screamed because of Scene Partner and told him exactly where I was.
Please rework this perk to not activate upon looking, but to instead activated upon pushing a button. Similar as to how I suggested Ghostface revealing should work.

Immediately... because I looked at the killer. Therefore, it makes it more of a weakness, than a perk. No perk should have a weakness. Its a perk. I'm not sure what you are saying when you say every perk has weaknesses... I've never noticed such and can't think of any weaknesses to perks. Some require skill, some require a trade off... but none have weaknesses that I can think of. And by the way... the trade off to this perk is the survivor screaming. I have no issue with it, if I wanted to use the perk at that moment... but I do, if I'm not trying to use the perk.
There is no reason for this perk not to be an activated perk, instead of a "look this way" perk. Looking at the killer is not a "skill issue". What am I supposed to do, run blindly into the map, hoping i'm not being followed? That's a ridiculously toxic beginning to your reply. Please try and keep things to facts. No, its not a "skill" issue. its a "mechanic" issue.

Sounds like a skill issue. Scene Partner is a fantastic chase perk. I've been running it since release. Every 60s, you get an aura read on killer. It's saved me so many times from a mindgame in chase.
If you're running the perk, you should have the awareness not to look towards the killer if it's active.

i think it is too high of a cooldown to be relevant chase perk. the lack of control for when you trigger the perk makes the perk not useful.

Maybe it should only activate when you are in chase, to make it more consistent?

I agree that the cooldown is a bit high, but def makes for a good perk to start chase off with at least. The advantage Scene Partner has compared to OoO at least is that you can make an attempt to stealth it out/hold onto the perk vs Object giving away your aura every 30 seconds.
