Dramaturgy strategizing.

I was just wondering if this is common practice or not. Dramaturgy has 4 secondary effects that vary from beneficial to horrendous depending on timing. Being able to pull out a medkit from NOWHERE is nice while you have time to heal, while getting exposed during a chase is rough.

Since the effects won't trigger twice in a row though... I tend to activate it outside of chase trying to circle around to the exposed. This way I know if I use it IN a chase, I won't get exposed, plus I might loot some items while spamming it. Anyone else do this?

    Seems like a good idea.

I don't do it cause I currently lack in the cage department... it's sad

I’ve been doing that with vigil

Getting the exposed effect out of the way so I don’t die in chase

Vigil + Dramaturgy is pretty good. I always use Drama at the start of the match since you could always just roll into a BNP.

Then I use Drama outside of chase to help cycle effects and vigil helps make sure it is up when I do need it.

I'm just imagining you with a mountain of BNPs to counter a 3 genner who refuses to chase anyone.

I used it outside of a chase once. I screamed, killer made a beeline for me, hooked and camped me.

I unlocked him ASAP. Even if his perks were absolutely garbage, I still wanted to get him for his personality.

That's why I generally use it when killer is already in a chase. Using it as soon as the match starts just runs the risk of telling the killer where to check first.

It is very effective when used with vigil. It is very good at reducing the exposed status effect. Also, this perk is for looping, not for gaining items. You can use more effective builds to gain items. This perk allows you to move forward about 10 meters faster than the killer (longer distance if 2 seconds more speed). In the old dead hard, this is about 4 meters. I think it is very similar to the old dead hard. Other than the damage miss, its features are better than the old dead hard. Also, if you think you won't be able to reach a pallet or window, it's a good thing to activate the perk and avoid taking damage when you normally would. It's incredibly satisfying to use in a situation like this. Or it is also very useful to turn 1-2 extra turns around a pallet. Also, if you do not use it in the dead zone, the exposed effect does not mean anything. In summary, use this perk while chasing. I think it has great potential, but it's an unexplored perk. My meta with vigil.

It's not a global scream, you can only hear from a few metres away so the Killer has to be quite close.
