Has anyone's game been crashing a lot lately? If so, how did you fix it?
For over a week now, the game has been genuinely unplayable. Not even as in "Oh it's killer/survivor sided, the perks are BS" but as in, I can't play a full match anymore. Even custom matches against bots will result in my game soft crashing. It will run perfectly fine until a certain point where I'll suddenly be looking at my wallpaper
This has never happened before and I've been playing this game for years. I could switch over to console but then that would mean I would lose almost EVERYTHING.
Has anyone faced this crashing issue and been able to fix it? I can't play any matches anymore

I had it happen twice yesterday and once early this morning. Which platform do you play on?

Yes. I legit had to downgrade my graphics. AMD was the cause of this issue. Ever since I got an older version, it's worked fine

I play on Microsoft Store, because of Game Pass. It's frustrating with censorship but it's nothing to start over about. Steam would've been better but it's not how I started. MS has never been an issue, at least nothing that couldn't be fixed

Yep, It happen to me too, I play in the Microsoft Store and since July 20 the game crash witout any error. The support doesn't give me any solution, so I can't play since then, bcz every match, include bots crash :(.

Yep, It works, I downgrade my drivers and that works fine, thank you so much! (I hava a 5700XT).

I’m on nvidia how would I go about downgrading a graphics driver? Any help will be greatly appreciated

I wouldn't be the one to ask because I'm pretty bad with technology. However, I did find this article from NVIDIA that may help

Hey I’m new to the whole forum thing but is anyone else game just crashing. I’ve had no problems whatsoever till now. I’ve updated all my drivers, changed my graphic settings to low, verified integrity of files numerous times now. But my games will still crash; I’m steady receiving matchmaking penalties (which are ridiculous btw; currently on 48hr penalty ._. ) It’s the same way each time which is if I’m killer, my first hooked kill results in me seeing my desktop wallpaper instantly; same goes for when I’m survivor except it’s when I complete a gen. If ANYONE has any ideas or solutions please bring them my way. Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem. The issue actually is your graphics drivers being up to date. Don't know why but my solution was to downgrade my drivers. A good way to test if it officially works without getting penalities is loading up custom matches against bots

i tryed to roll back driver solution and it wont let me do it seems i am stuck with this crashing problem

Why can't you do it? Depending on your type, you may have to download an older version. Trying googling "[your driver] downgrade"

even with down grade my drivers it still crashing and does the same thing
