Vaults needed this fix.
I play with 185ms ping.
The most recent patches made vaulting a death sentence.
Now survivors from the southern hemisphere can enjoy looping but pallet stuns are still bad.
Bhvr should add more servers down south and slightly nerf the new vaulting speed imo.
Bhvr has been pooling high ping players together and with this fix, playing is much more bearable.
I bought this game before dedicated servers were a thing.
Explain to me why high ping players should suffer while those near servers have an easy time.
I played in germany last year and couldn't believe how much easier it was.

I agree more servers are needed, but BHVR shouldn't make swings that shouldn't hit successful on purpose just so people with high ping have a better shot at winning. Playing against people with high ping is painful enough as it is, even if it's not their fault.

It's an online only, player vs player only, game. It's to be expected that you should at least have somewhat decent internet for the sake of not only you, but your team and the opponents.

The game was p2p b4 and I had no issue then. When I paid for the game.
To say that half the globe should just not play is gatekeeping no?

How about we have more servers AND leave the Vaults the way they are considering they've been fixed, not buffed AND fix palates? Both have had BS validation for a long time. 5 times yesterday I managed to stun a killer with a palate and Still got hit. One should register, not both.

its not your fault, its BHVR's fault but you have to deal with it.
as you said at the beginning, a server in south africa would be the best solution for you. by playing despite the high ping, you're just showing BHVR that it's okay for gamers to play in these conditions. At the end of the day, only the number of players and the profit they generate count for BHVR.
I have an absolute understanding of your situation and also a strong advocate of a sensible solution, i.e. your own server or again p2p for players in weak playernumber regions.
please take the time and create a direct feedback ticket in which you describe your situation and what solutions you think there are. there is a section for that at the support page. here in the forum the calls because of ping problems fade away because everyone agrees that is a bad company policy by BHVR (there are several hundred threads about this topic). in the case of a feedback ticket, at least one person from BHVR must take the time to read it:

thats true , but some regions had no server nearby and you cant prevent those player from actual getting into the game.
tell BHVR to actually implement server across more regions and them you can complain about high ping killers.
because right now there is a lot of countries with baseline "100ms - 200 ms" on 2023 due to the lack of Dedicated Servers.

As unfortunate as it is, those people just shouldn't play. They should, instead, actively push for a server to be added for their region.

Anything under 100ms is typically considered good and preferrable. Under 200ms is where things get kinda funny and not the good funny

Exactly ignore the guy 180 is a bit high though you could try eithernet cord or checking if your router needs an update

They should have a ping limit that makes it to where you can't even play with a ping higher than say 60ms?
