so, what is mikaela's nationality already?
kind of an old-unimportant question but still curious.
i don't know about all of you but it really eagers me to know where my main is from; did they forget to mention it in the lore or something? because they usually talk about it in other characters' lores, but not hers, strangely. i've seen a lot of people make different assumptions about it: irish because ginger, scottish because of the surname, scandinavian because of the name, and the list goes and goes...
the most interesting one i saw is that she doesn't really have a confirmed one because in one of the 7th anniversary loading screen messages it was mentioned that she's based off one of the developers? if someone knows about this more, could you elaborate? such as, what exactly did the message say? because i don't think i've seen anything like it before.
or just simple theories are welcome too, they're interesting to hear.

I've always believed she was Scottish. Not only because of the surname but also because due to the fact that wicca which she basically is originated in the British Islands.

Before survivors got more expansive lore I used to make my own little backgrounds for them, it helped with immersion a lot!
