Are there any plans to change or buff singularity?

EMPS still feel annoying to play around and have little downside to completely disabling your power. Just wondering… is there any plans to change them in the future?

I agree it would be nice to hear from bHVR again on this front, by all metrics I have seen its a overly complicated killer to play. Word from bHVR would be nice rather than the onslaught of "just get good" that players who dare speak out about Singularity get these days.

The Problem with decreasing the Time on the Pods is that by doing so you make Camping 3 Gens stronger.

I would rather see it have a bigger Slowdown as you also couldn't change the charge time because of the reason stated above.

Maybe give a bigger Hindered to Survivors charging up EMPs.

Or just give a Basekit Hindered for just having an EMP in your Hand in the first Place. That way Survivors can't use EMPs as much in Chase which is the most Fun Part about their Kit.

I've been playing him a lot recently to try to get better and once I start increasing in MMR, it's nothing but pain.

I don't even mind EMPs as much as how easy it is for survs to completely avoid his pods. A lot of survs have figured out now how to just use obstacles so as to not be targeted by the pod so then the killer wastes time either setting up new pods or just chasing them like any other M1 killer. You waste soooo much time even when you're effectively using his power in chase.

And the fact that survs can still gain decent amount of distance even if you successfully teleport to them is also really frustrating.

Sadly, I doubt he will get a rework any time soon. At most we can hope for is some small tweaks. He'll probably just be another killer like Twins that nobody ever plays.

the irony is that he is underwhelming in anything but 3 gens at base-kit. so by weakening him, they made him only good at 3 gens.....

I have played him a lot recently and im gonna be honest, playing him for defending 3 Gens is really not Optimal. The way to play him best is in Chase.

You need to think, plan and predict a lot with this Killer in order to play him well. Knowing at which places to place your Pods so you can Catch Survivors often and TP to them when they don't expect it is not that easy.

Using him for 3 Gens is not all that viable because Survivors are able to disable your Pods too easily.

While in Chase you can easily place a Pod and get them slipstreamed easily, the same isnt the Case for Gens as you have to go there Manually and Replace them only to find out your other 2 Pods at the other Gens have been disabled aswell

literally no further nerfs to emps are needed they're in a good spot and even if they disable them midchase you can easily replace the biopod and infect them again and if they nerf the disable time for pods he can be a 3 genning machine (he's already kinda too good at it).

singularity's major issue is the skill of the average player and being difficult on console more than anything else.

people have complained that if you don't see 100% of the Survivor model you can't infect them which can be adressed i guess.

yeah, i think the pods tagging could be way more forgiving. someone said if Michael can stalk an ankle, why can't the pod tag your ankle?

and he needs a little haste after a tele. it's too easy to make it to another loop.

that's about it, i think. otherwise he's fine.
