Add option to ban killers
What if there was the option to select a killer to ban when looking for a game? Because I know of a lot of people who have certain killers they absolutely hate playing against, and to make the experience more enjoyable for each party, I think this would be a good solution. Because if someone really dislikes the killer they're facing, they are way more likely to disconnect; if that problem wouldn't even occur, I think a lot of disconnects would be eliminated.
But that's just my take on this. What do y'all say?

There are a lot of survivors will disconnect at the slightest inconvenience in a match. This won't stop it. All this does it make queue times miserable for people who like certain killers. Bad idea.

It'd be great for when you have heal others challenge you could guarantee not getting Plague or an unhook challenge guarantee not getting Pyramid Head who can send players to cages instead.

Sure, if killers are allowed to block a survivor perk.

I would be okay with this if it had limitations.
Banning a killer only prevents the player from queueing against them twice in a row.

The time required to get in a game is already long enough, we don't need a pick and ban phase pretty please...

Killer choice vs survivor perk is not same thing. not on equal ground. I do think a lot of killers on here are blaming MFT for their poor play, though. I mean, its only 3%. "Get good" :)

And only one at a time (ie no more multiple weskers in a row)

3% that make 4.4 killers take forever to get the survivor and all m1 killers struggle to chase someone and being forced to have bloodlust to chase

This will just punish someone who want or like to play a strong killer, it will be the same with someone like to play with their friends a SWF and have a option to not found then in a match

The devs will never do this because it would absolutely destroy the queue. It could also make killer tome challenges a nightmare to complete because survivors get tired of seeing that particular killer, like last week I was seeing a lot of complaints about facing too many Clowns.
Anyway, survivors are worse than killers. My survivor matches would be a million times better if I never had another Meg or Urban Evasion user as a teammate ever again. Let me ban those. (Also something the devs will never do. ☹)

Having new Ranked game mode with bans and picks (Killers and Perks) would have less queue time IMHO. And this is something I am really waiting for and hoping for implementing

That wouldn't work out either. If a survivor blocks everyone and their mom and you're in a lobby with them you'll also suffer from very long MMR. And if killers blocked everyone they think is a swf they'll just end up facing and stomping low mmr survivors. And actual swf who get blocked simply for existing would get very long queues for no reason.

Nope nope nope. Any killer ban system would be open to way too much abuse.
Popular and/or strong killers like Blight and Wesker would have their queue times soar, and players in general for many killers would also see long waits. This would also reduce the available killers in the pool, ruining the matchmaking all around.

Perk bans would be matched with perk bans. The closest analogue Killer could have to ban would probably be maps/realms. No more Springwood!
MMR Isn't optional, so that means we are already playing Ranked Mode without the QoL features other games have had for years.
