PSA: Styptic and Syringe do not work together
I felt compelled to make this post after seeing a P100 survivor run these two add-ons together. They do not work if you run them both at the same time. Only the add-on you've placed in the left slot will activate.
Please spread the word to avoid people like this Leon from looking like a fool.
EDIT: Nevermind. They apparently do work together now. I have no idea when this change was since it isn't listed anywhere in any patch notes. And the last time I tried using both add-ons at once only 1 of them worked.
Why does stuff keep getting changed without warning or reason?

Its true, but is there a reason they dont work together beside it is what it is?

Because giving yourself Endurance and a heal over time with a single med-kit would be busted.

with the old times yes. but now? I don't know.

Because add-ons are applied in the order of left to right. It's why you always want to use battery first, then filament second- it increases the flashlight life for longer. It's why certain add-on combinations that increase and decrease stats have a set order to get optimal use (Billy and Huntress used to be notorious for this- you'd use an add-on to increase charge time before the one that decreases it). Styptic/Syringe both consume the MedKit and all add-ons on use, so whichever one activates first consumes the second before it has a chance to be used.
That's my understanding of it, anyway.

While we're at it, if you see this shared perk icon:
It means that as long as you're within 12 meters (1 tile width) of the survivor you just finished healing, you BOTH leave NO scratch marks until you separate or get injured.
You don't have to walk around the map, wasting both your time and the perk user's time.

They both work, however if you get hit with the styptic the syringe will not apply. If you run out the styptics use length then as long as your health state doesnt change the syringe will apply.
Ideally you run this combination of addons to either tank a hit, and if you dont get hit you'll be healed in 24 seconds.

Have you been using it or someone used it?

Strange, I saw my friend managed to use them together
before yesterday

Syringe literally states that it cancels the healing when you take damage or get picked up by the killer. Going into deep wounds is taking damage.

I've been using Teamwork: Collective Stealth, but it is almost completely useless in solo-queue if
- The other survivor doesn't realize their scratch marks are no longer visible since they couldn't see their own scratch marks to begin with, and
- The perk is so uncommon that survivor players don't have the icon memorized, and/or cannot tell which Teamwork perk is which (speed or stealth?)
It should be called Teamwork: Collective Stealth if equipped while in a SWF, and called Teamwork: Collective Sloth if equipped in solo-queue. 😂

No they don't.
Only the add-on you put in the left-most slot will activate once you consume the med-kit. The other one simply doesn't activate.
How wide-spread is this misconception that P100 survivors still believe it?

Might have just been an accident, they might have meant to click the other purple add on (Abdominal Dressing)

I quite literally used dramaturgy and got a medkit with both addons but the styptic was first. When I used it, the stypic endurance occurred at the same time the syringe timer was counting down in the bottom of my screen.
Your point while incorrect has some truth. If you are hit while the styptic effect is active the syringe is canceled. Also I commented this because this happened to me ingame right before I left the comment.

I had to jump into a survivor game after reading your comment to see if you were right. Turns out you were. Which baffles me because I distinctly remember doing the exact same thing a couple of patches ago and it didn't work.
Why does random ######### keep changing for no reason?

Both actually work together well now after the last patch to increase self healing on medkits. u can actually pop the styptic and after getting hit run off to mend. mending take 12 seconds than the syringe kick in after 24 seconds to put you back at full health. of course that the best case scenario of getting vaule from both.

I agree with you, I've been using it for a long time but guess what? Most survivors come with me when I tell them
But the worst thing is that it does not hide your aura
