Mettle Of Man Buff
I feel like out of all the Endurance perks, Mettle of Man is one of the healthiest. Its a high risk, high reward kind of perk. But I feel like its risk far outweighs its reward, especially since you have to throw your game just to get it 1 per trial minimum. Plus, doesnt help you gotta take 2 more extra protection hits to activate it again (Don't know if this is a bug)
Buff: Mettle Of Man only requires 2 protection hits to gain its effect.
This buff still throws survivors into risking their lives for this perk, but it isnt so much of a risk that theyll throw their game for it. Plus gives survs a chance to use it multiple times per trial. This also makes it a healthy perk, desentivizing survivors for cranking on gens if they want value, putting less excessive pressure on killers.

Honestly the current iteration is fine but they need to fix protection hit detection because you have to be in hugging distance to get protection hits for some reason

mettle isn't only risky, it also requires too much work. you could run around the chase the whole game and barely get to the 3 prot hits with 0-1 gens remaining or be useless and solo lose the match for the team. yes you being on gens is 10 times better than you taking protection hits 90% of the time as survivor.

MoM just suffers from the fact that if it was 2 it would be kinda op but at 3 it's just too weak. They need to just add more events that give you stacks like safe unhooks maybe.

Actually that was what it originally was when it got reworked but having both was dubbed overpowered still

I think this perk needs secondary effect which can make it more useful.
2 hits would make this perk busted. So it should stay with 3 hits.
But add another effect. Like 20% heal speed or you can see injured survivor auras for 48m within. Something like that.

na it was always 3 tokens. the rework had it where you could unhook to get 1 token.
with 2 tokens, you just run to the hook. take a hit then unhook someone, then get hit again. once you get hooked, you get both BT and MoM. MoM would just be OTR with no drawbacks. that is way too strong shift-w play vs weak killers for anti-tunnel perk.

Maybe increase the stacks needed then idk there's a lot of ways to play around with mettle if bhvr ever decided to try to make it a non meme perk again

There was a change that was more recent where it only took 2, in exchange how ever MoM just gave Endurance. What this meant is it was easier to activate, but wouldnt stack with other Endurance perks and would deactivate upon doing a conspicuous action
This version of MoM only saw the light of day for like a patch or 2, and thank god for that

i don't know. I think whole endurance change is likely going to get revisited at some point because it could be exploited to tunnel players out of the game. that is already a problem for anyone that uses dead hard. deep wound is like exhaust effect for that perk. pinhead with original pain is ignoring base-kit BT. that should sound very familiar to someone who also used to do that..freddy.
