NEEDED TO VENT READ IF YOU WANT

I Know I'm going to get a lot of hate for this but I need to say what I have to say. The executioner power is too oppressive to play against.


I just played a game against him and he had full control over the map, every pallet, window and door had been covered in the trail, you couldn't move or do anything.


The time it stays around is way too long and the fact he can keep his sword in the ground ready to hit you with his ranged attack with what it seems like no cool down is insane.


You can't escape chases, you can't stun cause the moment you even think about going near a pallet the sword goes down. You try and vault a window BOOM HEADSHOT you've been hit with his long range attacked. You have no way to escape.

And I know I'm no amazing survivor, I'm mediocre. A basic average player. But I know when I'm being outplayed by skill or unfair advantage due to killer power. And this was one of those times where killer power overpowered everything and anything an average player can do.


I'm not asking for major reworks or massive nerfs,

- reduce the time the trails stay or give us an option to get rid of then faster like demo's portals or Hag's traps

- there is a radius that the trails can't stay around hook's extend this to a certain area around pallets (I'm not saying don't allow them to be placed there just increase the time it takes to go away so that the survivors can actually have a chance)

- reduce the amount of trails that is active on the map so that the entire map is covered in it

-have it so that it does one or the other, the killer can either make a trail or use his long range attack not make a trail following you and then still use his long range attack or give it a punishment for using it for long periods of time like the nurses blink, she is greatly staggered if she misses her held blink. If the killer hold his power too long it gets canceled and staggered them as punishment for basicly camping an pallet or window for an easy opening.

Just one or two of these changes could be enough to give the survivors a little breathing room when facing him, I'm not suggesting all these to be implemented, just one or two would be nice

Even if this doesn't get read or seen or anything, I just feel better having vented my issues. If anyone else wants to vent about something in the game leave it in the comments maybe a dev will see who knows

    Try faking windows/pallets and breaking LOS the second you hear his sword knife thingy enter the ground. He is by no means OP and doesn't need any nerfs. In fact, he probably needs buffs in the form of an add on pass.
