I love these kinds of dialogues
"Spread pressure" - on Disturbed Ward where gens are miles away from each other
"skill issue" - Yep, playing around 3 god pallets, need to break a stupid breakable wall next to the god window and outplay a junglegym is clearly a skill issue
"I main Nurse" - Yepp, clearly a skill-issue on my part. I havent figured out how to teleport through walls with Wesker. Need to improve and to get good, I guess. Unfortunately, I just run around walls.
"play a better killer, he is overplayed, idiot" - I assume there are more than 2 killers viable against these SWFs, aye? Or are 30 killers just sacrifices when you face these kind of teams?
While all 5 gens were powered after 5:03min. - I assume this is a long time and I just have to get good
Clearly skill-issue, right, community?

"Spread pressure" at this point is such a meaningless term. People throw it around as if it's some sage piece of advice that wins arguments, but ultimately they're saying nothing helpful. It may as well be code for, "Have you tried losing less?"
21 -
Yes it is. You just haven't learned the forbidden tech, that is called "Play Nurse or Blight" yet.
Funnily enough, 5:03 minutes isn't that bad. They only had 1 toolbox. Imagine if all of them were running around with toolboxes and BNPs.
I'm suprised they didn't tell you to pressure gens. Last time I tried that I kicked the same gen like 10 times and that damn thing still kept its calm. It didn't seem to feel the pressure at all.
I'm going to assume that there were some moments that you didn't play perfect but it is a fact that a good coordinated group of survivors can get away with a lot more than the killer. It's even worse when you play a weaker killer.

Another wednesday of killers.
"Just down people in 20 seconds around the map."

I love how survivors complain about playing Wesker. Well, isnt it time for killers to complain about the overplayed Feng Min? ;-)

stbfl wesker

Its funny that people still think that "pressure" means "pressuring Gens". And well, you are playing Wesker, not really the weakest Killer. (Even tho, I hate to see STBFL on Wesker... You should use your power and not M1 everyone except for the Obsession... If you play Wesker as an M1-Killer for STBFL-value I can see one point where you can improve your gameplay..)
13 -
I play various perk-builds, not just his Meta, because the same 7 perks over and over again is kinda boring.
4 -
i'd expect an eyrie or even a garden offering from survivors with such attitude.
5 -
Not a fan of your build, try corrupt-deadlock, maybe pain res and they won't finish all 5 gens so quickly. No way out-noed is strong right now because you will reach endgame against good teams anyway, can't prevent it
0 -
As I said: I dont run the same boring Meta every single game.
I know everyone runs Corrupt, Deadlock, Pain Res and No Way Out with 2-3 options (either Bamboozor, NOED, Pop or Lethal), but this is so unbelievable boring.
1 -
"he's ugly and annoying" lol who be making these type of players man.
1 -
This happened to me a few times, they don't really know what they're doing and most of the time you can't satisfy all of them (you don't have to) when I use a meta build "Bro you are literally the worst -insert killer- I've never seen your build carried you"
But If I use a build for fun
"I'll beat you any day of the week kid get gud, trash build, trash player and low tier killer uninstall the game"
They are a lost cause
3 -
And the video?
5 -
Ok understandable, but you do realize getting value out of STBFL means you're basically throwing the game since you're simply not playing him correctly
Its like a Survivor trying to use a sabo build but using a Mechanics Toolbox with Instructions because 'they don't want to use the same toolbox and add ons that everybody else uses'
8 -
Ah, yes. A premade with a dedicated healer, looper and gen jockey (most overpowered element of the game) commenting on someone playing Wesker...
2 -
Gen-Kicks should be -5% Basekit, not -2,5%. Currently, the survivors (including myself) still tapping the gen because 2,5% is nothing.
6 -
True. 2.5% is barely enough to justify the time investment of kicking the gen in the first place. And it isn't helped by the fact that it only regresses at 0.25 c/s afterwards.
5 -
Yeah ok, I respect that. I just think that STBFL basically "forces" you to go for M1s, which makes you weaker. Because you want to have Stacks and you want to have value from the Perk and because of that, you are using the power less, while this is one of the best things about Wesker. (It also removes the passive Slowdown you usually get with him because you dont infect people)
1 -
Not really. How do I throw a game when I use M1 and M2, depends on the situation? On some points on the map, I cant use M2 properly. Of course I know that STBFL is not his main perk, but its kinda usable on him because he has an M2.

I mean, if you really did chase someone for 5 minutes that is an error on your part.
Disturbed Ward's biggest issue is how large it is. It suffers from the Storehouse Syndrome where it has gens in far off corner pockets that you can't reasonably patrol and if you chase there you are gonna lose the game.
7 -
Nah I had 4 hooks at the end of the game. I mixed once, which obviously was a mistake, I should have tunneled from the start to secure or had a chance for a 2K at least.
1 -
Maybe. It's very difficult to say without seeing the match.
2 -
”apply pressure" and "spread pressure" are survivor main’s gaslighting terms.
"boring” is survivor code speak for strong killer they want to see nerfed.
You can spot survivor mains easily by the language they use. It's all gaslighting and code speak.
9 -
Setting aside that gaslighting as a term really shouldn't be misused this way-
I've seen multiple killers talk about spreading pressure, it's not just a survivor thing. The idea of spreading pressure isn't exactly wrong, after all, it's only a problem when it's misapplied to situations where it's either impossible or wouldn't have helped- like the OP's scenario where spreading pressure on a map like Disturbed Ward is very difficult due to its size.

I have downloaded Medal to do this in the future. However, it only can do 2min witht the free option. Any good alternatives for recording a DBD-Match?
0 -
You should be using M2 like 80% of the time since not only do you get a hit, you also get slowdown thanks to the infection.
0 -
Outplayed is a good alternative
Not only does it have clips, but you have control over starting and stopping a recording with a hotkey. Also has its own built in editor so you can clip things as well (al though if you dont have premium, theres a little watermark)

You can easily tell which survivors only play Blight/Nurse or barely play killer at all even when they don't admiti it like this Feng. Game is pretty easy for survivor right now and she throws the skill issue line lol.
But to be fair Wesker is also pretty strong right now. Third strongest in my opinion now that spirit has been nerfed.
I don't recommend Save the Best on him. You do build, and spread pressure, on him by infecting people with his M2. Hysteria is pretty bad too. If you want a stealth Wesker Tinkerer or Trail of Torment are better.
Your can do some advanced dashes where you slide or bounce off certain loops/tiles. It takes practice but is very strong.
Hens made a video with most of Wesker's techs in it and added links to tutorials from other players in the video's description. if you want to learn them:

A year later with 5% basekit, people will ask for 10. Then progressively become basekit PGTW
Its not 2.5% is bad, its the Gen tap. Even if there is no losing progression, 2sec of startup animations is far better
Give survivors 2sec of startup animation would solve everything, cant Gen tap mid chase, extra 2sec to all action when you disturb them, 99% Gate become alot riskier.
6 -
Base-BT was buffed from 0 to 5 and then to 10sec. I cannot see the problem with 5% Gen-Regression. The 2sec-Startup-Animation is a really nice idea, this would solve this too.
2 -
5sec BT didnt solve the problem, the only way to make it better is increase the BT time, there is no alternative way unless hook spawn to another place, which is alot powerful and break the core mechanic
The problem of Gen kicking is not about the regression, its about Gen tap. Increase to 5% (instant 4.5sec then passively regress more can be strong, but its another story) but it still not solve the Gen tap. If they tap mid chase, either you let them make distance and kick, or leave Gen to continue chase.

Calling him ugly lol. As if that's a reason to not play a character 😆
2 -
They got a 3 man out and they were still smug about it? Who would have guessed. If it was a 3K instead, you would probably just get radio silence from them.

I've been playing dbd for three months now and at first everything was alright and I still have fun with the game.
Something that friends told me is that the community is very toxic, I disagreed at first but have experienced 20 games with toxic players actively making me have a horrible time.
Yesterday I played against a TTV, a bully squad flashlights,T-bag ,toolboxes ...
I thought: "you want to play like that?, Fine let's play like that"
I slugged camped and tunneled as much as I wanted, a 3k. I go to the stream and there's people calling me a bastard for camping, look every time I got a hook all of them went for the safe what am I supposed to do?, Just leave to search for nothing and let them unhook and heal?
It doesn't hurt personally but this kind of stuff makes want to play basement bubba.
There are some survivors that are just unbearable
4 -
Did 10 sec BT solve the problem? I still keep hearing about people being tunneled. I even do it myself after counting to 10. Maybe it should be 15 sec? Or we'd just hit through it in that case?
0 -
60 sec 😉

If there are an unhooked survivor and a healthy survivor in front of you, both will take 2 hits to down, but
- Unhooked survivor will lose that "health" state in 10sec. The healthy does not.
- Hitting unhooked survivor leaving them Deep wound. Hitting healthy one leaving injured. Looping a Deep wound is easier then Injured because of the blood overlay.
Even if the timer increased more, the benefit of chasing after unhooked survivor still more than healthy one.
0 -
This analysis only ignores the fact that eliminating a survivor with your first three hooks results in 33% global gen-slowdown for the rest of the trial, as only two players will do gens instead of three while you personally occupy the last one. This is stronger than any slowdown perk, with a not terribly hard activation requirement, and it doesn't even take a slot.
It also tremendously decreases the team's unhooking efficiency, as only two can go for the following unhooks, making it much easier to secure the second kill through proxy-camping.
EDIT: Nevermind, I'm dumb. I keep misunderstanding you when we're making the same point.
