Endurance needs to be restricted to basic attacks.

The fact that its getting added to more and more perks to bring them up in power whilst killer powers get blocked by it is getting ridiculous.

Some killers don't get to use their power a lot during a match and to have endurance block its effects on top of blocking a basic hit is making matches unbearable a times.

A good example of this is Myers & Oni. Both have powers that enable 1 hit into dying and now that endurance exists more frequently I get blocked by either the unhook, dead hard or buckle up. Those powers require long build up before you go back to being a basic killer with no other effect until your power comes back.

Meanwhile trapper can capture you and as long as you pick them up, endurance means nothing. This should be the case for killer powers as well that have the intent of downing you in 1 hit or disable you. I am fine with it blocking a basic attacks but either exposed should ignore endurance or it should be configured to where certain powers go through endurance otherwise the power might as well not exist when survivors can just ignore it with a perk or the simple act of being unhooked.

zero chance that is occurring. endurance is anti-tunnel mechanic for when survivors are out of position. BT is for hooks, mft/buckle up is for slugging and DH is for loops.

This idea would lead into even more splitting between the good and the bad, especially the M1-Killers.

The problem is endurance is giving a shield to survivors in scenarios where it shouldn't.

These powers that are on a clock when activated shouldn't be punished by mechanics that are intended for other flaws in the game. Otherwise why build up this power with a long cooldown just to have it get denied by them healing or unhooking someone?

It's being abused and the devs need to find another solution. Endurance lasts way too long in the game right now on most perks and the unhook. It is ruining the flow of the game by punishing a lot of killers powers with either a unhook, a button press or picking up the person that was careless.

Deathslinger can't even get someone down now because endurance blocks the hit and its not easy aiming the shot to begin with but their 10 second wall of protection should be allowed? That's not fun and it's going to make the game less fun in the long term.

Perhaps. I agree most Endurance exists for good reason, and cases where it's used unnecessarily doesn't negate the need for when it is necessary. But there's certainly scope for any new Endurance perks to only apply to Special Attacks, so that we don't become saturated with Endurance effects that tip the power too far toward survivors.

Sorry to say, this is one of the worst changes you can add. The killers that have the highest lethality and have secondary attacks are the ones least hurt by Endurance, not the most. There are obvious examples of Nurse and Blight who are given unparalleled tunneling abilities untop of their existing kit, but also killers who alredy have camping/tunneling problems (i.e. Leatherface and Pyramid Head). You can instantly hit survivors when they're given endurance, invalidating off the hook Endurance and almost every single Endurance perk just from the matchup.

I find your examples don't truly make sense. Myers would be fully hurt by these changes due to not having secondary attacks. The point of Endurance is to counter an insta-down, and only when injured. Those killers appeal is that they ignore health state, going after injured people isn't helpful.

That's the problem though. Endurance is becoming more common and its making killers take longer chases and canceling powers. It is taking away from the point of having a power when endurance can just invalidate it too.

Not to mention there isn't a cool down for these perks that grant it. It just requires the survivor heal someone or be healed a health state to get it again. Unhooking is fine the way it is, a reduced timer would be better.

It's not balanced in its current state where it keeps being granted over and over from healing. It's being taken advantage of.
