People who have played the PTB would you recommend buying the Alien chapter?
I have been waiting for this chapter for what feels like forever can anyone give their opinions on recommending it or not?
Any advice is appreciated.

Alien has a unique traversal power that outshines Demo's by a large amount. The perks range from pretty good to niche but none of them are useless on both sides. I have eyes on Rapid Brutality because I like being able to flex my m1 skills. Pairs well with Forced Hesitation if you're planning on downing with m1 in order to also benefit from Rapid. Lightfooted is pretty good but I think the only requisite it needed was to be healthy and not have a cooldown. Besides, you still have scratchmarks you can track as killer.
Yes, I would recommend this chapter. Fair warning though, tail attack takes a bit to get used to.

Nah, not really. The chase music is really bad you'll not play xenomorph for long until you get sick of it.

I had fun in the ptb.
Gonna assume they remain fun

The big part of the chapter is essentially Xeno, Both sets of perks are relatively mid, with just the Pallet freeze trap for survivor being interesting yet not overpowered.
Now for Xeno, hes a mix between Demo's tunnels and Nemesis M2s BUT you can crawl around in the tunnels and change your "teleport" location while in the tunnels. The M2 is very similar to nemesis Tier 1 M2 but you get verticallity which allows you to hit survivors that crouch under windows and other places where nemi struggles.
With lethal persuer and BBQ you can start chases instantly from the get go, and then ping pong around survivors getting hookstates.

The chase music was so horrendous, DO NOT BUY!
If they fixed the chase music then normal yes/no if you like new content packs.
If you like the perk(s) yep, like the Killer gameplay yep, want to main Ripley yep, but like all other packs if nothing seems good you can pass on it. If you aren't sure, watch some content creator videos with the perks/Killer and figure out if you like what you see.
Edit: They fixed the chase music, but I can't recommend it for a different reason. They upped it to a scummy price for $12 for only 1 Killer and 1 Survivor. The normal price for 1K1S is $7, and 1K2S is $12. The logic is because you get a free skin, but you don't get to pick which Alien chapter skin it is, so you don't actually get anything of value (any many other chapters have included equally weak cosmetics in the asking price). Auric cells also have a history of bugging out on purchases, so I can't recommend buying Auric Cells to simply buy the Killer and Survivor in-game either.

Sure, i thought Xeno was fun & pretty good to play with, not S-Tier but still pretty good nonetheless.

Was a fun and interactive killer - The only complaint I had was the chase music was mediocre. Release notes say that the chase music was changed so maybe it's better.

You can't use shards since they're lincensed

For me personally, no. Nemesis is unplayable for me on console, so Alien's M2, which is similar would match that. As for tunnels, i already play Dredge, so his tunnels are meh in comparison to that. Plus the turrets knocking you out of your power like singularity would annoy me to no end.
Perk wise maybe, but nothing special.
