Credit where credit is due. The new chase music is like night and day. No more glass squeaks!

What a difference from the PTB! Wether you like it or not, objectively I think it's safe to say the Xenomorph's new chase music is beyond expectations. I'm so glad they didn't just try to just band-aid fix what was on the PTB à la BHVR balance team. Instead they scratched it all out and went back to the drawing board, and boy did they deliver. It makes me wonder why the sound designers were content with such a mediocre chase music in the PTB when they've clearly shown they're capable of so much more.

Please no more ear-piercing, washing-machine-windshield-wiper-clothes-dryer-headache-inducing, screeching one-bar percussion loops. You guys can do so much better.

I really hope they can go back and give all the generic chase music killers left (Trapper, Wraith, Huntress, Pig, Freddy, Bubba, and Plague) the Wesker and Xeno treatment. That'd be really awesome.

Anyway thanks to the sound designers for listening.

We lost more than we gained with Xeno's new chase music, kinda disappointed ngl but it at least it still sounds like actual chase music compared to that of Wesker or Legion, which i hope they never do chase music like that again, if you can even call it that.

What exactly is wrong with Wesker and Legion chase music in your opinion?

Simply put, they fail as chase music in my eyes.

The purpose of chase music is to increase the tension of the life & death situation you're in as you run for your life with a threat in pursuit of you.

Chase music should have the feel that makes you want to run away from it in order to escape it.

Wesker's chase music isn't chase music, it's boss music, you know something you're suppose to fight rather than run away from, while yes it does fit his character, it doesn't work as chase music.

Legion's chase music fails as chase music because, while yes it is once again in character, it doesn't make you want to run away from it, it makes you want to jam out to it, which isn't what chase music should do.
