Is Queen Alien skin worth it?
I really love the look of this skin. In fact it's my favorite in DBD,but I hear the skin is pay 2 lose. That it takes away the stealth aspect of the killer. What does everyone think?

if your time management is good, stealth does not matter that much in majority of the games you play. enjoy what you want to enjoy!

It doesn't take away much from stealth aspect because she's pretty much the same size as default xeno while in crawler mode.
Even if she was pay 2 lose, it doesn't really matter because the amount of disadvantage you get is inconsequential unless you're a competitive player playing in tournaments which you, I assume, are not.

i personally would kinda cringe to spend 15$ on a skin but it is pretty skin, tho i would prefer grid

Feels like playing OG black cloth ghostie outfit and white mask vs the bush camo skin with scarecrow mask. Pay to lose (the black cloth doesn't blend well with most maps, the cloth is very loud, and the white mask truly makes you stand out), but boy is it just more thematically fun to play as vs the camo and the quieter outfit.

It is less so that the cloth is loud, and more that the rift skin has off again on again bugged silent audio. On release it was literally pay to win, because the cloth sound is the fair counterplay to getting snuck up on. The default Ghosty skin is supposed to have the same SFX as the classic (auric cell) skin, but I haven't tested the difference between those two in a while. There is a lack of the flapping straps in the classic skin (and rift skin) however, so to an extent the classic could be considered pay to win as well. It seems like the lean bugs are punishing strap skins even further at the moment, so I sadly can't recommend any of them over the default.

That cake is enough reason to buy it.
(Yeah her massive crest makes mindgaming at medium tiles pretty much impossible)

The camo skin doesn't have any straps, as well. Essentially, the most optimal play is running camo skin + scarecrow mask. It's quieter, and no straps to give corner positions away - but boy is the OG black cloth awesome to play as. At least it has less strap issues. :)

Last I recall the skin had the same volume of cape flaps, it just is bugged during half of its release (then fixed, then bugged again, then fixed, then bugged again), making the average noise lower. When it works properly it should be the exact same volume and sound distance as all the other skins strap flap noises and all (just no visual of the straps).

What killer skin is worth it? You can't even see it. Paying so others can see / go against it.

Queen Xeno is no less pay to lose than Default Xeno is, which is none at all because they're both the same size in-game.

Go big or go home!
I bought it. Super fun.
That's what games are about. Fun.
Don't take winning so seriously. Have fun ^^

Dude, queen Xeno even clips through the doors on Lerys because she is so tall - definitely the tallest killer by far
1 -
Then default Xeno would also clip through because the hive queen skin doesn't change the height while in match.

You sure? It's definitely bigger in store compared to the other skins

I dont think that Xenomorph is really stealthy to begin with. I mean, it has some Stealth, but I dont really think that the pay 2 lose-aspect is that big.

100%
It's only in the menu the queen is bigger, in match it's the same height as default xeno, it's the same case for the William Birkin skin really.

There are MANY skins for survivors and Killers that makes you a bit more or less visible. And it doesn't matter. Games are meant to be fun, and we buy skins, to feel good about it, that's all. If you like it, sure, get it! You can always switch it back and forth, however you like.
I personally like the basic skin far more because I'm more of a fan of the original Alien, and not the bug hive concept. But use the one you really like. Stop worrying about these things. You just wanna kill people and look good while doing it.

I'm going off Dead or Alive logic where yes I'm giving up stealth but I'm hoping I have so much cake I distract the survivors into making a mistake.

The best answer. The ONLY answer.

bad example though because og cloth ghostie is literally p2w skin because it doesn't have the flying straps like most other skins & it is very dark so it's harder to spot ghostface on most dark maps.

As a aliens fan I would've bought the queen skin anyways but the cake is a welcomed bonus and I hope she doesn't end up with a pyramid head situation

I think it is worth it and I hope BHVR doesn't change her size. I knew I would be a huge alien queen when I bought it, it is exactly what I want from this skin.
1 -
Legit us aliens fans don't care if she's "pay to lose" we're just glad the queen is in as a skin lol

If I'm going to be honest I bought the skin anyways but I actually never play as her. The reason I never play as her is because I'm more of a fan of alien and alien isolation. But the reason why I even bought her was simply because I thought she looked cool and I also enjoy aliens. Though there are times where I do regret even buying her because it does feel like a waste of money if I'm not even going to play as her but cool lobby animation though

They are more or less same size in game.
And its not pay to lose, its pay to inflict fear on your opponents.
Also, who cares? Survs go with glowing neon pink lights.
A little expensive tho, just that skin its expensiver than full DLC (With a skin).

I play with Og costume but with the scary movie mask.

If you won, but didn't look fly when you did it, did you actually win?
Red Ghostface and Queenie FTW!
