Suggestion - Teleport facecamped survivors to random hook and hide the aura from killer
This would make camped hooks work more like a cage of atonement. The facecamp teleport progress bar should only take about 15 - 20 seconds to fill up for direct facecamping, slowing down as the killer moves further away, and resetting for any game progression actions taken by the killer(eg. breaking a generator, wall, or pallet), or whenever another survivor is nearby.
I think this option would have 2 major benefits over the planned free self-unhook when facecamped mechanic.
- Because of the similarity to a survivor being sent to a Cage of Atonement, the flow gameplay will be familiar to current players.
- Tunneling survivors the killer wanted to camp will not be an issue. This mechanic would likely help quite a bit to discourage tunneling gameplay in general.

The devs are already working on giving the hooked survivor the ability to unhook themselves if facecamped.
Hook placement is key to building pressure against the survivors and survivors shouldn't teleport on hook

They would only get teleported if they were being facecamped so it wouldn't affect most gameplay.
As far as the planned change, it would still be easy to tunnel someone after they unhook themselves from a facecamp. Endurance hit is basically free since killer doesn't have to chase for it, then it's just a one hit chase with no chance for survivor to heal, hide, or find a loop.

What about at end game when all gens are done?

Even if they did that, it would really help the Killer's case in implementation map pressure and be forced to tunnel and find the weak links and have a shot of winning in the game, this way. As much as we all hate Camping and tunnelling, they are the most effective and efficient way to secure a kill by any means; which in turn makes it the most powerful means to for the killer to win, no matter what people say.
Teleporting hooks is usually not really recommended by Pyramid heads players, as it gives Survivors a chance to get away with a free unhooking and they want Survivors to be still effected with torment so they can mori them quickly, after 2nd unhooked. And doesnt necessarily solve facecamping. Which is why I think the devs upcoming changes to face camping with basekit deliverance for when the killer is sitting near hook is a healthy change.
If you want to make killer's less likely to camp and tunnelling, how about quality of life improvement changes to improve their chase and be effective in pressure the whole map without the need to camp and tunnel. Like for example... Making gen regression/slowdown perks basekit for any killer, and nerfing/Reworking the meta perks.

I honestly think the exit gates need a rework. At the very least, it needs to be more dangerous to just hangout inside the exit gate. I like the idea of adding 1 vault to the threshold so that people can be grabbed when leaving the match. They could also make it so that no one can leave the match while a fellow survivor is on the hook during the first 3/4 of the EGC. This would make chases during the endgame much more viable and the endgame itself would be a bigger part of the game. Right now it's just not that exciting for anyone.

I could be crazy but I have noticed lately that the exit gates have a MUCH higher chance of spawning right next to each other. I feel like it is very rare to have 2 exists be opposite of each other on maps where they are random.
