Shattered Square is the worst map ever made

How this map still exist in the first place?

This map is ugly, extremely survivor sided, every place there is one pallet

In my opinion this map is worse than garden of joy...

True , l don't know how people can keep quiet about borgo, this map is as bad as garden of pain and even then i don't see many people complaining.

Survivor sided? With the amount of wide open space for killers to see you from miles away and half the map always being a dead zone for gens with sheer amounts of nothingness all round the edge? Come on now. Yes it's a terrible map, but it's not survivor sided in the slightest.

One of the biggest annoyances with the map are those giant stone walls. They usually don’t have any pallets or windows but they are so huge that survivors can easily chain those together with loops that are so close by. It’s another Haddonfield fence issue.

I hate this map on both sides. The red hue of the map is head ache inducing, the large stone walls (which they made taller for some unknown reasons) create semi-infinites if connected to other loops, you can see other players from way across the map because of how unnecessarily open it is. It's just overall a bad map that needs reworked.

Can we also mention how if we have a close encounter w killer, but manage to get the gate open...you will get downed because the gate opens in a unique manner that prevents you from freely running through immediately...

I agree it’s definitely a pain to play on but for me personally I tied it up with Garden Of Joy cause that map is unbalanced as well.

Someone on this thread seriously said the killer can see survivors wherever they are and that's to the killers advantage? Uhhh what lmao. It's the opposite, the survivor always see the killer coming and can hold forward for ages.

That is still a massive improvement compared to release, every single possible pallet spawn had one. It was like the game but 3 times the size and 300 times the pallets.

Yeah, Borgo is the pinnacle of a crappy map design. It looks bad, it plays bad, and it interferes with game mechanics in a bad way. Idk how it exists.

Going from "completely broken" to "Almost completely broken" is hardly a good improvement.

As always, whether or not a map is 'survivor sided' largely comes down to the killer being played.

Borgo is definitely one of the worst maps in the game, but like all of the 'worst maps in the game', it's not a non-viable killer map.

I've had it twice as Xenomorph who I'm still learning, and scored 4Ks each time. Well one I gave hatch. And I'm most definitely not getting constant 4Ks as Xeno.
