Boon Totems need to be single use perks
And if they get snuffed out the boonj is gone for good, just like Hex totems if they get cleansed.

little bit late for this kind of post...
I mean, it would work, if you buff all boons a lot, but that would be quite bad for killers without high movement speed.

Sure, but only if it takes the killer 16 seconds to snuff it and cannot rekindle it with Hex: Pentimento.

Sure, but only if hex totems can be rekindled indefinitely just like Boon Totems.

Why are we kicking already dead perks lmao

What's your reasoning for thinking that?
To me, boons have a pretty clear purpose behind their implementation, and they're pretty objectively not the same kind of perk as hexes so there's really no reason to insist they be balanced the same way.

I'd be fine with this if boon were an instant tap on a totem. The problem is the current boons are very well balanced for the timesink they require. For example the arguable best perk, Circle of Healing. It gives auras of the injured, and 100% altruistic heal speed. This means you get an 8s heal instead of a 16, and a 10s heal instead of 20s. This also requires the injured person and a medic to both run to the boon instead of stay where they were and heal. The time lost in attempting to get the benefits of this perk is almost always more than the time saved. Even if theoretically you had 2 perfect on the spot heals, that only saved you a net of 2s.

At the moment, boon totems are too weak to have such a function. You're too late.

Why? The survivor cannot defend Boon in any way , While the killers manage to defend the Hex and prevent the survivors from cleansed it
For this reason, survivors are able to bless the totem indefinitely

Boons don't really need further nerfs? A person blessing a totem isn't doing a gen, snuffing a totem is a near-immediate action, and the boon usage dropping off a cliff (none in the top ten, as per BHVR's latest stat info) is a testament to their nerfs being effective.
They're fine. I'd be down with discussing buffing or adding effects to Shattered Hope given it's been next to useless even in boon metas, but that's not the topic of this thread.

As a Killer main, no. Boons aren't even that big of a problem, the only one I hate is the one that hides Scratch marks, just because I think removing the one way for Killers to track healthy survivors is a bit OP. I just think instead Shattered Hope should be made baseline, and then you can revert the nerfs to CoH if that happens since now there's real counterplay to them since each totem can only be used once. I also think if a Hex Totem is boon'd then the Hex should simply move to a dull totem.
