SWFs need to be put into their own matchmaking pool that Killers can opt into
Tired of toxic bully squad SWFs. If they want to torture killers, then at least let the Killer consent to it first.

Who would want to play against SWF if they can choose not to and just face solos? The queue times would be hell of a mess with not everybody being even full 4 SWF. Be serious and rational, please. Look for solutions and features to make solo Q the most similar to SWF, and not punishing people for playing a multiplayer videogame with their friends.

Absolutely not. Very few if any killers would opt into it, which would then alienate SWF players from the game for not ever being able to find a match. A LOT of people do SWF in DBD. If you take that away or make it near impossible for them to play then the game would lose a very large part of its player base overnight.

How many "bully" squads can anyone actually be facing? Around half of all survs are in a SWF but the vast majority are two mans, with threes and especially fours a very small percentage indeed.
If someone is in that fabled "very high MMR" they'd maybe get a stupidly skilled four-man more regularly, but everything is busted in that area and everyone knows this.
I agree with the others, this proposal would leave SWF never getting a trial, and wreak queue times all over.

And therein is the rub: No sane killer would without massive BP incentives because playing against a full four man SWF isn't fun. I don't expect to get 4ks every match but matched against SWFs are never fun for me. It's always fun getting destroyed by survivors who have a massive advantage you have no counter for and then getting trash talked in the post game chat when they only won due to having an uncounterable advantage.

SWFs aren't fun to play against. The game isn't balanced around them or the huge advantage they have over voice comms when it should be. SWF mains, however, insist on balancing around solo queue because they don't want to get nerfed.

That would require huge nerfs to survivors to counter the uncounterable advantage the coordination comms give them. Disabling aura perks, SWFs having increased generator repair times per each member in the premade, etc.
SWF mains can't have it both mains, having a huge advantage over Killers while also insisting the game should be balanced around solo queue.

The game will get balanced around SWF once solo Q is put to the same level of SWF. There is still a lot of work to be done. Instead of punishing people for playing a VIDEOGAME with their FRIENDS, think of ways to get solo Q and "randoms" to the same level of coordination SWF can have or very similar with tools that can be given through the game (Kindred base kit, knowing your team's builds, and yada yada yada). Nobody plays a multiplayer game with friends to be handicaped for doing so. Imagine if for playing duos in a shooter game your headshots counted just half damage. Be serious and let the inner pain go, please.

There's nothing more fun, than destroying would-be bully squads. Like 4man headons or 4man flashlights. It creates 2nd game layer on top of first one - where you play base game (get 4 kills) + additional game (don't get stunned, bait those lockers, don't get flashlight saved).
Sure if you are bad (compared to that 4man) it can be frustrating. But evidenced by endgame chat/DC's it can be frustrating for them (and at minimum me having a lot of fun) when you actually know how to counter them.
"uncounterable" is very funny. I regularly counter that "uncounterable" then :) And I am not even super good. There are much better killer players then me

Communication in any game offers a huge advantage over just silently doing your thing I still have not heard anyone wanting to get rid of it in Dota or counter strike for example? If we instead bring solo more on a level with swf for example by adding voice chat then we would have something to balance around.
When I say implement it I mean with more options like mit players, mute it all together, push to talk and so on, basically what every game has... I'm adding that part because it took bhvr years to add certain options that should be the bare minimum even when this game came out, so my hopes for a proper implementation from the get go are rather low.

SWF is 90% friends goofing off, 9% skilled but not sweating and less than 1% clock callout super sweats.
I can tell when I'm going against a SWF when people are staying to the end of a match despite dying relatively early (hit escape and check ping, no ping and they are gone). They are no more skilled than the soloq players who don't stay.
I've never felt the need to 'play sweaty' merely because they were a SWF. I have felt that need when they genb4fren, which only happens with that 1% mentioned above. It also happens in soloq when people don't care about their teammates instead. Most SWFs would much rather the 4 man escape, so they do their best (and fail) to protect their friend who sucks at the game.
Part of this is also negativity bias without proof. How do you know when the losses were because of SWF, and the victories were because of soloq? Did you check when you won that they weren't friended on steam? That was a SWF you beat, but if you didn't check, then you wouldn't truly know. It seems like SWF is the boogeyman to blame for all your losses, rather than the true cause (whatever that may be, outmapped/outperked/bad early game/etc.).

I'm average at best. I just want to have fun in the game and not get stomped by sweat lords who then proceed to trash talk me in post game chat because I 'suck' when the reason they won was due to having an advantage I have zero counter to.
Information wins games and what does a full four man SWF on voice comms have? Effectively every information perk in the game.

Let's phrase it differently, why would anyone opt in with a lower tier killer? You would effectively kill killer variety then... You would face like 5-6 killers or some ridiculously good one tricks with 2k hours on huntress or something like that.
It's just a terrible idea.

The current survivor meta combined with SWFs is already killing killer variety. Not unless MFT + Resi + Hope and broken combos like Buckle Up + FTP get nerfed hard.
Top tier killers like the Nurse and Blight don't care about MFT while it really hurts low tier M1 Killers.

It's been a point I've seen brought up a lot; very strong killers with high mobility don't really care about MFT since they can catch up with survivors easily. Weaker ones, however, get hosed, especially those with no anti-loop or good chase abilities.

Exactly, I would like the implementation of some sort of BP bonus incentives that depends on the swfs in match.
For killers, per every Survivor in a SWF of 2,3 or all 4 total; they get a 50%- maximize to a 100% BP gain.
For solo Survivor, if they are playing with another solo Survivor. They get a 50% to maximum of a 100%, if the whole match is full of soloQ players.

SWFs are grossly overpowered. That's why most of them are so cocky. They need nerfing (without effecting solo players, and yes...this is possible).

If you punish people for playing with friends you will basically kill the game... Is this so hard to understand? Also most people in SWF are not even that good, they are mostly just friends messing around. The game should not be balanced around people playing ineffective. The proper thing to do is basically bring soloq on the level of swf and then balance around that, it is really not that hard.

Ah, yes. The same excuse over and over again. Yet, everytime I play killer it is 90% against SWF with all the meta cheese. Those "people who just play with friends" would mind a few nerfs to bring them closer to SoloQ. I mean...they are just vibing right and not that serious?

Depends on how you nerf them but at least a few won't because their games will be harder for no good reason. Also what are you gonna do if people just decide to go to a voice chat after they got a random lobby? Like they used to do in the old days?

Usually it is very easy to spot. Similar names, same language and so on. It is also highly noticeable through their coordination and playstyle ingame. And yes, I do check profiles.

Dude, playing in a SWF is easy mode. Either you’re trolling or just bad but otherwise almost every match that isn’t against a comp Nurse should be a win. A little nerfing should actually make their matches more normal again.

Language? You have like 80+% of people speaking english in my region. Also most people run good perks these days, basically no one runs all those trash perks. What playstyle exactly? And coordination? In what sense?
And in your research how many people were duos only and 3 or 4 men?

You must be new to the game, because otherwise I cannot understand your reasoning. If the players are not already good by themselves in chase they don't automatically win just because they have communication. If you face a good killer and you go down within seconds what does it help you to be in voice and all? There are many good killers in the game, not just nurse that can completely annihilate you if you make mistakes and if you really think that you only face people doing clock callouts and playing as efficient as possible then you're just delusional, because that is nowhere near the reality of matchmaking in this game.

Also being punished just by playing with friends will make a lot of survivors drop the game = game will be balanced and maybe devs will decide to "target fair 60% escape rate" in attempts to save the game...

I have 3K hours so no, not new. And how many killers can down someone in seconds? Except for Nurse none. Most cannot deal with the map imbalance. I am mediocre as survivor and except for Xenomorph I can loop most killers for multiple generators, even Blight. So cut the crap already. Top people who are decent at the game off with meta perks adjusted to each other and comms and that is exactly why this game is SWF sided and everyone knows it.

Blight with his strongest addons is arguably stronger than Nurse, Spirit, Wesker, Plague and Artist are also all strong killers. All of those killers can down survivors in seconds if played properly.
3 or 4 men swf are a really small percentage and you will rarely encounter them. The vast majority is solos with a smaller percentage of duos.

Your example is terrible, with the surv hud change to see progress this is not that hard to pull off, same with being at the door when the Gen is almost completed.... So maybe try something that actually makes sense.

I have seen exactly coordinated boogeyman that absolutely destroyed me (yes - virtually everybody has those games). Exactly the time-precise callouts and whatnot - even deliverance (a perk that has potentially very little value in soloQ). But there was this one thing. In endgame chat they absolutely pointed out all the little mistakes they did and were mad at each other. They even communicated in a different way. And one of them spoke totally different language (IDK why people that write azbuka think everyone else will just understand them)
Just because someone is good, it does not automatically mean they are SWF. This might have been true before HUD, but (thankfully) no longer.

People just see swf everywhere so they don't need to reflect that they could have done many things better because swf is unbeatable, which is complete nonsense if we 1. Look at the amount of 4 men swf and 2. Look at how many of those existing are really that good that you cannot still find the weak link and win of that. I basically play only solo and have pulled those plays off already or bodyblock if necessary and stuff it is ridiculous that making good plays is bound to being in a swf.

Like 95% or more of my survivor games are sabo plays. It does not matter if I play soloQ or SWF (even though solo feels too bad so I don't play it a lot - like I do play with semi-random people I don't really know and don't know their play style and don't communicate with them, but it's still technically SWF). Which means that most killers will every single time think, that I am at least duo with somebody.
