Curiosity and possible suggestion
My random curiosity can be boiled down to "Why are there no classic monster based DLCs?"
you know, like the werewolf, vampire, and several others? We have an alien, we have a mutant that raises zombies, we have ghosts and spirits, what about werewolves and vampires and other classics?
the suggestion part is a bit more detailed, follow along if you wish:
So, if the devs are open to a suggestion, I do have an idea for a werewolf-themed DLC.
so the lore/history of the werewolf as a potential killer goes like this (at least in my head, devs feel free to change it up if you wish) :
"Faolan Colt was an Irish logger in the 1960s, after a vicious, brutal encounter with a wild wolf left him with deep bite scars and claw marks, his mind started to play tricks on him, and drove him mad. in the 70's he was placed into an asylum diagnosed with clinical lycanthropy, the delusional belief of being a werewolf, following a decade-long spree of ritualistic, satanic sacrifices and evidences of cannibalism.
Faolan Colt was declared executed in 1985, but quickly following the news of his execution, the killings began again in larger numbers and far more frequently, alongside these killings came disturbing reports of a large creature at the scene of each killing, one that walks upright like a human, but the head shape is much more canine, hulking body bristling with fur, pale yellow eyes that glow in the darkness andthe most terrible sound, a shrill cry that sounds like a cross between a terrible, nearly human scream of rage and agony and the howl of a mad, hungry wolf.
Perhaps the entity seemed to have appreciation for Faolan Colt's sacrifices and methods to do so, and gave him a second chance. According to the laws of nature, humans can only act like apex predators because of their knowledge, ability to reason, and ability to use technology. You take those away however, humans are suddenly knocked from the top of the food chain and instead find themselves in the same link as bottom feeding fish and pigs.
And what kind of wolf concerns themselves with the opinions of pigs and fish?"
I was thinking of calling it several names,
'The Beast'
"The NightStalker/NightHowler"
"Fenrir" - Norse mythology inspired
or just 'the werewolf' or 'the Wolf'
fun fact, the name 'Faolan' is originally from a word in irish mythology, 'Faoladh'. Feel free to look either up for a small homework assignment.
Much love, from Venom.

IIRC the original idea was to never use 'classic' (end of the alphabet) horror tropes of Vampires/Werewolves/Yetis/Zombies. That was the shorthand, but the idea was along the lines of they are too stale or centuries old. Even then Zombies aren't the Killer, they are part of the power (for Nemmy). If they added a Vampire, it would need to be a fresh spin on the concept of what it is to be a Vampire. It was basically a push for creativity within the team. Now to be fair, I think that was also the directive 6-7 years ago, and could probably include 'classic' horror now.

true enough, the zombies don't 'kill' but they do injure the survivors, so the zombies are basically an extension of the killer... at least that's what I gathered from it? and tbh, I'm more looking for a werewolf themed dlc, and I even gave a story/history for one if they were up to a suggestion for one, even tossed out some potential names.
but if they could release a dlc for 'Classic screams' (working title) with three or four classic inspired killers, like the werewolf mentioned above who originally was just a logger, who was attacked by a wolf and essentially went insane with a mental disorder also called Lycanthropy, only to have the entity bring him back with a sort of Karmic reincarnation thing... but that's just an idea I threw together. ^^;

Yeah I think for the most part if Demo stays no longer part of the license, they could pivot his design into "The Werewolf". Demo would remain as Legendary skins, but the Killer gameplay wise can still be available to most of the public.
