Is BHVR using AI to write their cosmetic descriptions?
The very deliberately careful wording of this answer in the Q&A quite heavily implies that BHVR has been trying to use AI to write their cosmetic descriptions (which would explain why they're childishly poor quality) lately. Is BHVR trying to avoid saying this for the sake of avoiding drama, seeing how AI is rightfully scrutinized in the industry?

using templates for flavour text...
that's the antithesis of flavour

He used this template to lazily create cosmetic descriptions.

She kind of liked the descriptor.

I wonder why they need to do that with that manpower they have.

I doubt it's AI as a template is very different than AI writing but I hope BHVR is listening to the feedback that the boring templates are...well...really boring.
It's not the biggest concern in the game but how hard can it be to write a paragraph for a mini story on a piece of clothing? They've done it plenty of times before so I don't know why they want to fix what isn't broken.

Think about it
They said they are stepping up their cosmetic department to make more cosmetics (compounded by people complaining about some survs being neglected cosmetic wise) and so they decide to make the process easier - they make adding descriptions take less effort and manpower
It lines up I think

Yes, but increasing the amount of cosmetics shouldn't require the descriptions seem like they were written by a fifth grade child.

it doesn't tho. Using a template to display with their cosmetics is hardly an AI generating them LOL. It's a few sentences at best. I interpret is as them making the sections of a description more "standard" e.g. a title, a theme, a description. It's probably keeping all of the cosmetic text to a certain character limit in a centralised location for ease of development.
