It is technically against ToS but I have never heard of anyone getting in trouble for it. I was actually disciplined for suggesting you hide against a killer who is working with a survivor. Take that how you will.

Yes, depending on the way it's done. If everyone is farming it's fine, if someone is outright running the killer to you and the killer goes after you it's griefing/unsportsmanlike i think.

Yes, you can. You would need video footage to prove this though - they won't go on a single still or results screen.

Fixed it. I honestly don't care, it would be a blessing this game does not care about solo survivors in the least anymore.

It is absolutely reportable if a Survivor works with a Killer to gain an advantage or grief teammates. This requires an in-game report (REQUIRED), with a Support Ticket being optional. And even though optional, a Ticket, especially with video evidence (if able), can be very helpful to the ACMs when reviewing the situation.

Genuine question here. You all say the Support Ticket is optional, but is there actually any chance of action being taken if you don't submit a Ticket? Obviously I don't know what Support is able to see, but since they absolutely need video evidence to make the call, which they cannot acquire themselves, I have to wonder if saying it's "optional" is entirely accurate.

If the person does it constantly and got like dozens upon dozens of ingame reports from different players, I'd imagine they'd take action then, but failing that, no, they won't do anything because it could just as easily be a salty player false-reporting.

Exactly. So then saying it’s optional to submit a Support Ticket, meaning it’s not necessary, is just not true. You have to submit evidence through a ticket or hope a lot of other players had similar experiences. For chat abuse it’s understandable, that’s easily logged and plainly visible, but other than that…
Also, the mass-reporting thing is dangerous. If that’s actually the case, they better know what players are content creators ‘cause they’re inevitably going they get tons of reports on them if it becomes known that’s how it works.

So long as you lodged a report in game, did the full report and have video evidence, then you can report. Absolutely.

Report them! I do that often and many of them were also punished for it, report them! Don't give people like that a chance to get away with it

As I've said before but want to preface with it again <3 I am a Community Moderator here on this Forum, a player here since in-between the release of Nurse and The Shape into the game. And I too, use the report system as everyone here does.
I have in the past used it many times, including for things under Griefing (as well as Communications Abuse, Unsportsmanlike Conduct outside of DCing, to name a few). With the required in game report, the match is flagged, as well as the player(s) in question (even if not on the same platform, or are anonymous), and the ACMs can review data from the match. Even if you don't have video evidence (which is immensely helpful, or even Required with some type of reports), a Ticket just to give an account of the match to coincide with the data can help as well.
At the end of the day, no punishment is given without evidence of wrongdoing. Many report cases can be handled with the information from the match itself, but some may, or do, need more than that. And it is optional because if you do have evidence or wish to relay context/your PoV of the match, you are welcome to do so.

I guess having evidence will always be the most important part, but it’s still not entirely clear to me precisely what Support is able to see and act upon without it. But I suppose you may not know either.

No worries at all, GentlemanFridge; I understand the community has voiced frustration regarding the report system as it is now, even a confusion over things, and that's alright (and you kept it civil & respectful, a big thank you for that <3 ), and I think the update that allows players to see the results of their reports is a huge help towards lessening both of those feelings.
Not being an ACM, I cannot give insight to the process. But even without a visual replay, match information can say a lot, depending on the potential rule break being reported.

But when only the last 2 survivors are left in the match there is no rule written that you help the killer, I did 3 generators full I was well hidden away from the killer. I was hiding away from his instinct but also noticing that other survivors not completing their generators.

I reported them with video proof so I don't have to show it to the public, hopefully, they will do something about it
