love how game doesnt listen to community

devs wanted a way for us to communicate and share our thoughts and ideas and created this,

now the only thing that exists is controversial topics and ideas that will never see the light of day, ive seen so many ideas, game features, mechanics and much more that should of been added to the game long ago but anything ever said in these discussions never reach a dev

They cant add every idea, but they do add some.

I made a long post some time ago, which most of it was added when prestige was updated. Pretty good.

To be honest BHVR does a pretty good job listening to community feedback compared to other games I've been a part of and I've played a lot of online games. BUT your experience is still valid.

Things posted on the forums do make it into the game.

I think the issue is a lot of people expect it to be super direct- IE, someone makes a post with an idea, and that idea is translated into the game entirely, which really isn't how it seems to work. Outside of some rare instances (I think the last one I noticed was someone suggesting Pyramid Head's daily challenge be changed, which made it into the game a few patches later after a dev answered), it's really more that general ideas make it into the game, especially after it's posted more than once. This kind of feedback is more useful for indicating general trends and gauging the community temperature on things, rather than soliciting complete ideas, at least in my opinion.

If nothing else, the PTB Feedback sections are the most direct examples of feedback resulting in changes.
