There's a bug with flashlights and lockers that allows survivors to glitch so they're physically inside the locker where almost every killer in the game can't do anything to them or interact with the locker. People are exploiting it big time.

I won't tell you how to do it, but I will tell you it involves lockers. Survivors can enter lockers with one easy bug/exploit and Killers can't hit you unless they have power that hit beyond objects and walls. I recommend either not playing Killer or only play Killers that can deal with this. I switched to Pyramid Head for example and refuse to switch until it's fixed.
Good thing is Pyramid Head is also one of the best tunnelers in the game so you can fight back againts these idiots who abusing this.

I screenshot, in-game report and send tickets on anyone who will do this in my games. Allready sended 3 tickets just by this morning btw. Where is the killswitch when you need it.

Hope it gets fixed soon or killswitched now. Otherwise, Pyramid head it is. Was thinking about playing him more as well so....

I disagree, at the end of the day if you're intentionally using an exploit to gain an unfair advantage (even being able to hold the game hostage) then should be be 100% punished and treated as a cheater. It's unfair and ruins everyone's fun.

Depends on how long they knew about it. It really came up over the weekend, so if they did not know about it before, they probably wont be able to fix it for tomorrow. (Would be great if they can, but really depends when they were aware of the Bug/Glitch)
They will most likely killswitch Flashlights today once they are in the office. But this could also mean that Flashlights can potentially be killswitched for a few weeks, because usually they only do two Bugfix-Patches.

So all they have to do is use anonymous mode and your video is useless. In game reports are also useless and everyone knows that.

i hv watched a Killer Streamer yesterday and 8/10 Games Survivors was abusing that Glitch and then blamed the Killer that he is the reason why Survivors need to abuse it because playing Survivor isnt fun anymore when MfT is going to get nerfed ... also when some1 is playing Blight, Nurse or Xenomorph Survivors should be allowed to abuse it and the Bug is fun 🤷🏻♀️
Im so happy im playing more TCM Right now im not going to touch DbD until it gets fixed or Flashlights gets killswitched
The worse thing when BHVR would killswitched the Flashlight Survivors still would be able to abuse the Bug because u still can find Toolboxes in the Chests

It would be lovely if that happened. Not only would people be able to get practice in with flashbangs if they were to do blind saves but we could put this dumb discourse of "OH BUT KILLER BAD SO I CAN EXPLOIT", sure, that means one less item to be able to be used but then you could temporarily have the firecrackers return. OR BETTER YET, MAKE THEM A THING YOU CAN GET NORMALLY!

The company policy abolishing overtime and working the weekends. That’s a good thing.
It just happens to result in moments like this where there’s no one to crack down on gamebreaking exploits.

This reminds of one time back in 2017 i think, where an exploit on old Crotus was discovered that allowed Survivors to get out on the outer side of the wall near the staircase and walk around high above where no killer at the time with the exception Huntress could reach them, essentially holding the game hostage.
Back then, bhvr would temporarily ban anyone caught using said exploit until it was fixed since the killswitch feature didn't exist.
If the killswitch feature still didn't exist today, I think they would have temporarily banned people who uses this exploit as well.

Btw. the forum mods have been working on the weekend. So i´m not really sure on how much of that "no work on weekends" is really being abolished.

You are quite literally by definition cheating, it's not intended to never get hit/downed. By using this bug you're gaining an unfair advantage and you're literally able to hold the game hostage if other survivor's do this. By all accounts, it's cheating.

survivors were using a glitch to hide in lockers meaning I couldn't reach them NO MATTER WHAT.
IM BANNED FOR 10+ HOURS FOR DC'ING A MATCH WHERE I WAS BEING HELD HOSTAGE FOR 20+ MINUTES BECAUSE OF A GLITCH.

it the same mindset when we got the Huge Perk Update that buffed Killers alot Survivors has start hacking and defend it whit that the Game is unfun for Survivors now and they are hacking until BHVR revert all the Killer Buffs and Survivor Perks nerfs
its crazy and Show the real colour of this Players and now they are abusing a Bug And defend it whit that is very fun to do and Survivors finally can Play against Killers again also some ppl has said that abusing the Exploit is fine against killer who are tunneling and Camps or plays Nurse because it is the same 🤷🏻♀️
On Tiktok and YouTube u instant get blamed by Survivors Mains when u complain about this Bug sadly this Shows again how toxic the DbD Community is and alot Players just playing the Game for bullying the other side
i hope all of them who Exploit this Bug gets perma banned for there whole life

Holding a 3 gen for an hour is also both holding the game hostage and not intended gameplay according to the devs.
Let's hope they roll out bans and hotfixes for both issues as soon as humanly possible.

Game can atleast still progress there, with the locker exploit the game doesnt progress in any way until the abusers choose to.

Right but that's quite literally game design, knight and skill merchant (arguably SM more) are literally made with the intent to be good at holding an area. What's not intended is invincibility, not being able to get hit, not being able to get hooked or downed, at the end of the day there is a clear distinction between abusing a bug and using a killer playstyle.

i dont have a VoD but the Streamer has save his 8 hours Stream from yesterday
And yeah TCM is full of Hackers but only on PC and the Devs has removed Crossplay for PC Players until the Peoblem is solved so Console Players dont have it and im also playing on PS4 so i dont need to Deal whit Cheater in TCM :D

Yeah the Skull Merchant holding a 3 Gen for Hours tactic is annoying but it is valid and not bannable because they dont abuse a Exploit also the Devs are working on it and are going to rework her
That lockers glitch is a Exploit that shouldnt be possible and ppl abuse it to troll the Killer Player and hold him hostag it is cleary Bug Abusing als every1 who is doing this should get perma banned

Oh, it is holding the game hostage if the Killer has no desire to chase and down Survivors and just holds their 3-Gen.

At some point both sides have to commit in order for the game to end. At some point the Survivors have to try to do Gens, even if they risk dying. And at some point the Killer has to try to kill Survivors, even if this means they lose their 3-Gen. It is honestly really simple.
