Be a good survivor and punish Locker Exploiters
Like shown in the video by properly entering the locker you will forcefully push the loser outside leaving them vulnerable to the killer, where they will rightfully get killed and hopefully banned afterwards.

So just learned Flashlights were kill switched (thank god) but anyway, if this glitch ever happens again, now you know how to help the killer deal with these losers.

Eh...sabotage a exploiter whos throwing the game and possibly die. Or die because were down a teammate immedately because they put themself in a glitch spot for minutes on end. Its a hard choice.

Í dont know, I did not experience the Glitch in my games yesterday. So I did not mind it too much, all Survivors in my Lobbies with Flashlights behaved.

The Killswitch does not require a Patch. But I think if you did not reload the game, you will still be able to get Flashlights. And, as already said, they will still be in Chests. But more difficult to pull without the respective Perks.

I only played yesterday and today since the Alien chapter launched. I played about 5 hours each day. I didn't run into one person that was abusing the exploit. Flashlights are disabled now, so it shouldn't be happening anymore.

I not 100% sure that this is the case, but if I am correct, I would not even rule out that some people might do that.
But honestly, if someone goes out of their way to not reboot DBD to keep using Flashlights for this exploit, they are asking to be banned. And not temporarily IMO.

Honestly, who would think that using the flashlight while going to a locker would do this ? How is it even possible ? Lockers and flashlights have no interaction at all

They were here when i joined. Its hard to remember that far back. But i never saw them as extremely survivor sided. Ive seen them have views both ways people just more point them out when they say something against killers with how this forum swings (if im honest). On the bug front. When youve been around that long youve seen so many bugs abused from both sides with defenders. But Eitherway they are allowed to their views. Don't need to be hostile.

lol for every buggy exploit some visionary finds a work around.
That's half the fun of buggy exploits, till they get patched out.

Im sorry, but sleepy is right, if you notice a teammate cheating/exploiting you should at the very minimum, deny him heals / Unhooks
Actively progressing a match and helping a cheater prosper is just as bad as cheating itself.
we're not talking about a "if I do this input it will look like the killer is smacking another person with my body!" glitch we're talking about an exploit that makes you invincible and has the potential to take the killer hostage.
Comments like "So I help the killer and I still get killed anyway" screams self entitlement and undeniable bias.

Even though flashlights are killswitched I think it is still possible to grab them from chests even without residual manifest. The bug will still be abused assuming people find flashlights. Well thanks to this post I know what to do when I see a teammate doing this. Time to punish some exploiters.

I have always tried to make the lives of cheater/exploiters harder in game, even if it means I got sacrificed as a result. But more often than not, the killer has treated me well for doing the right thing, and as a killer I always try to reward survs not going along with cheaters/exploiters, and punish those who do to the degree that I can.
It really benefits the entire community when players don't co-sign other's BS. Just going along with teammates who are up to dirty business just contributes to the generalizations that already plague the community.
One of the games last night is a good example: a Claudette was about to go down in my first chase of the game, and she glitched into a locker and wouldn't come out. I just threw down anchor in front of the locker and was totally prepared to throw the entire game and let the other three go to make sure she didn't make it out, but they all tried to help her (and liberally utilized the exploit themselves in the process).
And because they were bad (as cheaters/exploiters often are), I managed to kill a couple more of them.

Why i am going to take L just because cheater ruining game?
I will just finish game as fast as i can and then i will leave. If there is way to help killer to stop cheater, i'd do. But just because BHVR is failed to stop cheaters, i won't take responsibility. But i would not work with this cheater , like healing for example.

Your only other option is to take a cheated win instead of punishing the cheater and have the chance the killer lets you go with your item and addons.
Unless you're morally bankrupt i don't see as to why you'd try to "win" a match with a cheater on your team, you can't even claim you didn't notice the dude cheating, because unlike a subtle 3% movement increase, noclipping into a locker is noticeable to even the newest of players.

I will make it simple for you.
I am not cheating, if there is cheater i will just progress and record game. So cheater can't hold hostage everyone in game.
The best way to deal with cheaters is finish gens, open gate and leave.
If there is chance to stop the cheater, i will help to killer. If there is not, then i will just finish game as fast as i can.
And again, just because there is cheater, i won't take the Lose. Blame BHVR for cheaters, not the other players.

Oh, I wont help. I just know that Killers dont appreciate it if someone helps them, so I will just not do that.
I will be out of the match at some point either way. The exploiter is not my problem when I am a Survivor.

Many killers -do- appreciate when survivors don't go along with the cheater, but whatever suits your anti-killer narrative I guess.

Since they neither appreciated when I did not run the strongest Meta nor when I helped them with Archive-Challenges... I doubt they appreciate if someone helps them with Exploiters. It is a shame, but at some point, people dont want to help anymore.

Be real here, what do you expect people to do just because you were a decent person for 10 seconds? You expect killers to throw the match for you just because?
I dont expect survivors to hookicide just because i allowed them to do their glyph before downing and hooking them.
Good deeds dont expect to be "repaid" thats the point of a good deed.

Oh, I expect if someone pretends to be farming for their difficult Archive-Challenge, that I wont be hooked the third time. I am not farming anymore, I just complete Gens and be out of the game. Same with exploiters - they are not my problem, being a good person before did not help me, so I wont do it anymore. So I do Gens and the Killer should have fun being hold hostage by some weirdo in a locker.
But overall, the problem does not really come up anyway. People saying here that they got 10 games in a row with SWFs who bring Coins to get Flashlights are just lying. I did not get a single exploiter on Sunday and I did not get a single Survivor who tried to get Flashlights on Monday.
But I am probably the odd case again, as usual. :)

Yep, I expect players to be nice if I help them with a challenge which they struggled so much that they needed the other side to help with that.
And since I cannot expect it, they should not expect me to help with their problem anymore. Simple as that. Of course I am a bad human being now for those poor tormented souls, but it is what it is. :)

going along with the exploiter's way IS helping the exploiter. as humans we shouldn't need treats for our good deeds, preventing cheating should be a good reward by itself regardless of the killer's appreciation.

Nope. But my job is to repair Gens. Not helping the Killer to get a exploiter so that I can be killed next.
