New Locker Exploit
Cool… so kill switching Flashlights was kinda useless because they found a new way to locker Exploit…
Killers that ignore this Exploit
Artist, PyramidHead,
Killers that can do something but kinda have to „work“ for it
Huntress, Deathslinger, Trickster and Victor all have to see a bit of the survivor
and Wesker he has to kind of flick correctly.
Im just asking myself why tf they do this like come on play the game…

So... is it with flashlights?
Cause they can still find it on chests.
So same thing if yes.

Check out Twitch.
Trolling killers IS the game for a lot of them.
9 -
No its another method not with Flashlights. I kinda dont want to say it here.

Wesker can still get survivors out of the map if the get the timing right on RPD and leave them slugged out there.
Xeno can block unhooks.
Demo can jump into tress and abuse high objects for distance.
Oh yea and wesker still pulls you back to his side of the pallet/window. The thing that was supposed to be fixed. But survivors have a bug. Nope nope we have to kill it right away. Killer community loses it's mind.

Except all of these glitches let you die in 2-4 minutes...
The locker glitch can hold the game hostage for an hour.
The survivor mains have lost their mind...
27 -
And 3 gen sally skull merchant isn't a problem? Holding games hostage for an hour slugging and refusing to hook?
1 -
She doesnt use exploits to noclip while doing so, so not quite the same thing.
21 -
Let's compare 3 gen gaming to an exploit glitch. Best logic ever.
12 -
1 in a hundred games have I had a killer abuse a broken thing.
Over the weekend, during my time zone prime time. Every SWF was playing with that glitch. Every game devolved into me staring at a locker, it was funny at first, ten games later it wasn't.
18 -
Holy mother of whataboutism, are we just throwing random stuff around now? We are talking about locker exploit...
16 -
Survivor entitlement really is through the roof. Really wonder why some survivors even play if they think the game is so unwinnable outside of using an exploit.
16 -
You see one of these every once in a great while. The locker exploit was every single game, all day long. Every map, all the time, and like two killers can/could do anything about it.
You should go be ashamed of yourself for trying to even make such a laughable false equivalency. Ridiculous.
10 -
I'm not even going to argue with this much of a survivor main.
11 -
And that was @antag0nisticw0mble with "Things that should also be fixed but said like I wanna start a fight for some reason".
Now let's get back to "getting put on big rusty metal hooks really hurt" with Jane Romero! How's it hanging Jane?

Holding the game hostage for either side isn't fun that's the point. One side always ends up on the bad side of it and I agree it needs adressing but my point is there are plenty of issues with killers which remain ignored. Survivors got an exploit and the community went mad devs instantly jumped on it which shows their priorities.

Lets not feed the Troll pls just ignore them. Thanks

If this new exploit is the one I've seen on-line it is super easy for the killers to avoid triggering. It's not a situation where you can do it on your own.

The problem is that if you dont know how to prevent it you will be stuck with it. And its not that its that obvious what triggers it.
3 -
True, might be worth bringing it up so people who haven't encountered it know what not to do.

Killers have no gamebreaking exploits. As peantis explained Skull Merchant is not an exploit, it is just a poorly designed killer. Although she can "hold the game hostage", this is very rare. The locker glitch was every game...

I wait till i hear something from the mods.

So wesker still being able to get out of the map with survivors on RPD isn't an exploit?

It's just human behavior, at least for sad people.
"Part of me knows X behavior is wrong, but I really want to do it, so I'll justify it with Y"
And variable Y can be whatever straw they can grasp at.
We're all tempted to engage in that nonsense isht from time to time, it's just that most of us won't.

Wesker getting out of the map with survivors on RPD isn't gamebreaking?
As for 3 gen sally I had 4 in a row last week. It was not fun.

As a former survivor main I understand this and survivors who are always complaining about killer glitches such as Xeno's tail attack glitch decide to show no mercy to killers who are just trying to enjoy the game. And now they're wondering why the don't have flashlights and survivors who were playing legit don't have flashlights either and hopefully have flashbangs or firecrackers. Now the killer side isn't innocent either but the majority doesn't seem as bad as surviviors in my opinion.

I just saw a video of an even newer Locker glitch, just need 2 survivors to activate it, I hope it's not real but fear that it is.

I get like 2-3 SMs a week, maybe (thank god).
And like 99.9% of the community, killer and surv, agree that she is an absolute travesty. Thus the relative rush to a rework for her.
And again, the point you seem to be glossing over is that the locker exploit was breaking pretty much every game before flashlights were killswitched.
Really, there's no comparison.
And the reason that exploits like this are usually worse than killer exploits is that in most cases, killer exploits are limited to one killer, or occasionally a killer perk.
This bug could be exploited by any surv on any map at any time, with just a common item. It's really one of the worst ever. Certainly the worst exploit I've seen in my ~4 years with the game, and there have been some doozies.
1 -
Well it doesn't hold the game hostage in any way or give him a competitive advantage so no it is not.
Also getting 4 Skull Merchants in a row is almost impossible(~.001%) chance if we pretended her pickrate was 10%, which it is less than. So at least try to make a logical complaint.
2 -
When it was originally discovered yes it did. You could get a 4k every game all you had to do was have survivors on the side of the building by the front gen. I know I've done it in custom games and it's not hard to do. Devs said they patched it but the bug is still there if you know how to do it.

I hate 3-gen Skull Merchant and even I can agree with this.
One is an exploit that prevents the game from progressing, if 2 Survivors do it, it is physically impossible for the Killer to progress the game, they are just stuck in that match.
The other is just poor game design... you can technically just give up so you wont be held there for an hour, I mean there is a reason why Skull Merchant has such a high killrate, being that most people give up as soon as they hear the Terror Radius anyways.
Huge difference between the two.

Is this bait?
I've played Wesker for over 2000 hours, and this bug has been usable around 10 times. You could never get a 4K with it. If you are that experienced with it, explain how you do said exploit.
3 -
Player made a second video showing it, no item or perk needed. Only way to stop it will be to Killswitch lockers or Survivors.

I don't know if the devs are aware of it already, but in case they are not you should make a support ticket bug report with a link to the video. Don't post it publicly in the Bug Reports forum section or something or you will be banned for sharing an exploit.

For this kind of issues, please use the bug report section and let's avoid explaining and spreading further how to perform exploits, thank you.
