why do some teammates never take a hit after being unhooked?
let's say i unhook this one teammate while already being injured myself. not only that, but there's also the killer coming towards us. luckily, i save the teammate on time before being hit, but when that person does get unhooked by me, he just immediately runs away with endurance on instead of taking a hit for me (who's already injured). and because of that, i, of course, get downed when there was such a good chance not to. but, guess randoms will always be randoms.
when i get unhooked by an injured teammate, i'll always try and take a hit for them since i have endurance on, just like everyone else when they're saved. but when the endurance timer is almost over, i try to go my own way, away from the killer, which is actually fair. so why are the others THAT greedy or something? it won't really change anything.

a few possible reasons. depends on the type of player. (disclaimer, I don't necessarily agree with all I'm saying in these... just possible pov)
1- you are fresh on hook and I'm on death hook. it's fine, I'll heal with the other person I saw while on hook and we'll come back to save you later.
2- killer tunneled me once, not making it easy for them this time.
3- why are you even unhooking me while injured with the killer nearby in the first place? surely there was time for a heal or we could have waited a bit for them to leave? that's on you.
4- I just failed to realize you were injured in the first place and/or bad pathing on my part.
5- I assumed you had a plan. like mettle of man or dead hard, the purple bottle thing... maybe deliverance.
6- tunnel vision on the open exit gates.
7- I hate megs (or whoever...)
8- we traded spots... that's normal. why is that an issue?
9- I had a tome challenge that required it specifically...
10- I'M LITERALLY PLAYING YUN-JIN LEE!
sidenote... why is this on feedback and suggestions? feels like a general discussions thing

Unless you manage to take a hit next second after being unhooked, I wouldn't advise it.
If you bodyblock the killer after being unhooked, you are just asking to get tunneled.
I gave them option to leave, they didn't take it. That's it.

This. Unhook endurance was given to survivors to help with tunneling. Body blocking/aggro a hit after being unhooked will almost certainly ALWAYS result in that player being thrown back on the hook OP. End game prayers aside they made the correct call. You however did not. You went for unhook injured with killer near by/chasing. Come on bruh.

Because they are smart enough to know that if they take that hit, unless the killer is an advocate of the Survivors Rulebook, he is going to tunnel him with good reason and no one to blame but himself.
The basekit BT is not for tanking hits, it's for protecting the unhooked person from getting tunneled. If you don't want to do a trade, don't unhook near the killer and much less if you are already injured.

Basekit BT doesn't exist for you to take hits for your unhooker. If you do this, expect to get hard tunneled.

It depends on the match. If the killer isn't playing sweaty and it's not your death hook then I'm not gonna be obnoxious and stop the killer getting hooks. Those kinds of killers don't tunnel off the hook or camp, so I'm not going to body block unless I absolutely have to. It's kind of like when survivors try and body block the killers first hook. It's unnecessary.
If you're on death hook or you're being tunneled I will be right there with bock blocks and teabags to support you.

They've been tunneled three games in a row and don't want to make it four, is my guess.

Why should I put my life on the line for you?
