A suggestion about Xeno’s last nerf
Been playing that killer since it first came out and I absolutely love him. Even with the last nerf he got to his tail attack cooldown I still think the killer is decent. But my main issue is now turrets will always put you on a lose-lose situation. Because now if you hit the turrets during a chase, you give the survivor a massive distance to reach a better loop. And if you ignore the turrets, you turn into a boring m1 killer.
so here’s my idea to fix this:
the tail cooldown remains as it is right now after missing the attack or hitting the survivor with it. However, when you hit a turret with the tail you get a reduced cooldown (the pre nerf cooldown).
and that’s it. What are your thoughts?

I like your idea tbh! But survivors will ofc hate bc ever since Hux came out they what emp level of tools to deal with killers' power. I think emps was a mistake bc now every survivor feels like they need some tool to give them an advantage against the killer or even have a way to remove the killer's power altogether.

I thought the turrets where more of a secondary objective for Xeno to buy more time. That's what I think BHVR is trying to achieve with all this extra survi or stuff recently. But it all backfires because it makes the killers balancing difficult.

no. the turrets are there to make power worse. if survivor complains a lot about xeno, they buff turrets. if they love xeno, the turrets stay weaker. tail attack has long cooldown and big m/s decrease to keep turrets strong.

We should all remember the purpose of turrets isn't to allow Xeno to have a powerful M2 ability. The purpose of turrets is to give survivors extra counterplay, and that's it. Zero compensation is given to the killer

to some degree. they somewhat trying to balance killer's fun and survivor's fun.

So if every xeno can't 4K every single game (only majority of them) it means he is survivor's plaything. Got it.

I respectfully disagree. The main point of the cooldown nerf was just because the Xeno could spam the hell out of his m2 without a real punishment if he whiffed. My suggestion would keep that aspect of the nerf to reward the survivors for dodging the attack, while at the same time, it also rewards the killer for reacting to the turret and hit it before being kicked out of crawl mode.

They never did anything to the cooldown. All they did was reduce the MOVEMENT speed DURING the cooldown.

Why would survivors place the turret then? Its absolutely useless anyway. With your suggestion it even gives the Killer a buff.
