Description: Playing as Kate vs Wesker on RPD, was unhooked and tunneled (shocking), greeded a loop knowing i had DS, got grabbed by Wesker's power, succeeded the DS skill check, aaaaand nothing happened. No DS, straight back on the hook. I don't know if this is a regular occurrence. Will see if I get another tunneling Wesker to test.

It is on console (apperently for a long time).

I had it work for me against his grab yesterday so maybe it's random or requires certain conditions to break?
