Basement Hooks should count as scourge hooks
Kinda dumb that outside of Monsterous Shrine that the basement dosent count as a scourge hook very annoying it dosent tbh, the fact I cant proc pain res or flood of rage or gift of pain on a basement hook is really annoying

Devs will NEVER add built-in scourge basement hooks; deal with it :)

They seem to favor the rng aspects of both scourge hooks and basement spawns too much to force static locations on maps. Monstrous Shrine is the only way right now, but most won't give up a perk slot just for that.

sucks that you only get 4 bc half the time you get all 4 on one side of the map and never get to use it bc they never go to that side of the map, kinda wish if you run a scourge hook perk that 3 uptop would be random scourge hooks and basements would be scourge hooks too

The whole point of making Monstrous Shrine attractive is that. Just combo it with other scourge hook perks mate.

nobody wants to use monstrous shrine as a synergy perk, its not THAT good and the benefit from the synergy is not enough.

Nope gotta sacrifice 2 perks in your build just so you can use gift of pain on your basement hooks

Disagree. Both basement and scourge hooks are very powerful tools. Combining both for free (without having to sacrifice a perk slot for Monstrous Shrine) is way too strong and makes basement even more powerful than it already is.

Then let's talk about monstrous shrine. I 100% agree the perk is trash-tier and should get (reasonable - in this case that will be still big) buff. But having scourges in basement basekit does not sound reasonable
