Ultimate Weapon has the same issue as Nowhere To Hide.
Both of these perks are fine on paper. Do action,reveal survivors. Problem for both is simple. They last AROUND the Killer. Both Nowhere To Hide and Ultimate Weapon move as you move. This shouldnt be the case. Plain and simple. Too much information,too strong on the higher tier killers. These are all the changes required.

Less convinced on Nowhere to Hide being a problem because you can only use it on a gen that is in the repairing state, it's got a small 24m radius, and it's such a short duration. It's application is effectively locating survivors who are hiding around gens, and doesn't extend much beyond that.
It doesn't allow you to walk most of the way across the map and cover everywhere you could ever want. That said I'd stop being vocal about UW if it was 30s centralised on a locker or was only active for 6 seconds on the killer. These seem like reasonable nerfs to make the perk a "I know someone is hiding near this location, let's flush them out" detection perk.

If you really think NWTH, a perk that lasts for 5 seconds, requires a non-regressing gen to activate and has a limited range of 24m is "OP" I wonder what you think about perks whos only requirement to activate is "get hit" and give permanent speed and action boosts as long as you're injured.
As a side note, UW weapon has a variable CD of 30-60 seconds (or more because it takes time to walk to a locker + do the search) since it only triggers once per survivor when in the activate state + requires a locker search to activate, and realistically, all the perk does is tell you theres a survivor "somewhere over here".
(Not to mention both can be countered/Deleted with Distortion + CS)

The only change UW needs is that it should activate(be wasted) on a hooked survivor if they are closest to decrease the usefulness in camping, similar to how ghostface can still be revealed by a hooked survivor so they can't just facecamp with no TR.

My point exactly. Nowhere to Hide gets too silly only paired with Lethal Pursuer and on strong killers,but gets silly nonetheless. It could get buffed in range,but should get tied to the gen.

Notice how I didnt say anything about the idea of the reveal and their requirements..Only about the reveal lasting in a radius that is attached to the killer as they move...

Be real here, what killers can actually carry that 5s aura far from the gen? Nurse and blight...? everybody else doesn't get much value outside of the generator's vecinity.
NWTH is fine as is, info perks generally speaking are perfectly fine.
If we go by "Well players shouldn't be able to carry wallhack abilities around" then undeniably we'd have to nerf a plethora of survivor perks like WOO, Deja Vu, Bond,empathy etc etc.

I will explain this knowing that people who have never played Killer may not be able to understand it.
Survivors consider themselves the source of life.
For the killer, it's a generator. Once the two generators are repaired, the killer will reach the first stage of onhook.
Then, the fifth generator repaired and gate opened will cause the killer to reach the third stage and die.
Therefore, there may be few things that directly visualize the killer, but consider that the benefits related to generators are equivalent to making the killer visible and attacking it.
Think of the equivalent of that being given to the Killer, since the generators are under too much attack and he physically can't save them all.

the survivor hud updates provides a huge amount of info an you don't even need a perk for that. number of gens being worked on, progress, who's in chase, when to get ready by an exit gate switch, whos cleanings, recovery progress
I think we can let killers have a bit of info with the huge amount of survivor info we get :)

I thought Killer mains didnt like being forced to run tons of stuff to counter overtuned perks from the other side? If you concede that running exhaustion perks vs MFT makes MFT balance then I can agree with a take like that. If you dont then you're just being a hypocrite.

on blight UW is definitely broken and should be changed in some way to accommodate that, or even reworked if thats not possible. but NTH? its 5 seconds of aura reading that only procs on kicking a gen. come on.

Ah yes, QoL changes for solo q exist so killers should get some kind of counterpart to ensure they stay miserable.
Also, this is an asymmetrical game and making random equivalents to demand stuff everytime the other side gets something is silly. If we have to nullify every balance change to keep everyone happy we might as well make none.

The correct comparison would be an hypotethical killer perk that outright deletes exhaustion perks instead of applying a 5-10 second cooldown like they do as of now.
If killers had a similar perk to distortion/CS that just deletes exhaustion perks, it would be ran 24/7 and you know it , because exhaustion perks ARE that annoyingly overtuned.
When you're given something akin to a delete button but refuse to equip it, then it either tells us the UW isn't that big of a deal, or you just want BHVR to let you run all the perks at once as basekit.

You're making a great argument for tying the aura to the gen location. You just said yourself, Nurse and Blight are the killers getting insane value from it. Nerf a perk that is way stronger on already S tier killers and the rest of the roster is unaffected, yes?

Also I don't even understand,if nobody else besides S tiers gets much value from carrying the aura,why are you even complaining about this? Perks will get nerfed essentially only in the problematic areas and be fine otherwise

I've played against a few Nurses with Lethal recently and them being able to kick a gen,then triple blink and have 7 seconds of full wallhacks in a 24 meter range? Ooof. It really also doesnt make sense thematically. It's supposed to be punishing people hiding around gens,not the person you just movement ability'd to in 4 seconds on the other end of the map.

Because theres a huge difference between a blight carrying an aura read across the map, and a regular killer carrying the aura an extra 5 meters.
Then again, back to the original point, if carrying aura read around is "problematic" then survivor aura reads like Bond, WOO, Deja Vu , etc will obviously need to be toned down too.
You can't make an argument to nerf a perk thats only up for 5 seconds, requires a non-regressing gen + limited range is a problem, but refuse to acknowledge that survivor perks more often than not contain stronger effects for absolutely free, and no, loading into the map to activate perma aura on teammates and Windows+Pallets is not a valid requirement.

You do understand,right,that there is a difference between seeing resources and teammates,versus the opposite side. That's why blood amber is so strong. You're comparing wallhacks versus teammate infos that is 90% of the time provided by discord.

Requires a large recharge time after triple blink.
This is effective if your only purpose is to search for the enemy, but it is rather inefficient if you are aiming to knock down your opponent by attacking twice.
Intermediate and above nurse users will be looking for better options. Because nurses are stronger that way.

Yeah theres a huge difference between a perk that for 5 seconds tells me theres a survivor hiding there, and WOO and Bond giving me knowledge of where my teammates and loops are down to a T, so I can path 10x better than I would without them.
Dont bring "discord" into the argument because thats factually incorrect, the accuracy of the info you get from having *literal 100% uptime free wallhacks* is very different from your teammate saying "Hey, im at harvester".

That level of information changes exactly and precisely nothing. If I have teammate at harvester (or anywhere in 10m vicinity) - I just don't go there. But suppose I had to blink precisely at someone with 3m distance to get a hit....

its really not that big a deal. if nurse is getting hits off NTH its because the survivors were dumb enough to hide around the gen. there is a 0% chance of her hitting you with NTH if you are out of its range/running away and at least 19m from her.
The theme of the perk is that there is nowhere to hide. if it was just about gens then the aura wouldnt last over 2 or 3 seconds and wouldnt be linked to the killer. but it does and is, because the perk is about finding people in the general area of a gen.

Um... no, theres no killer perk that just gives you exhaustion for free, survivors get crap like distortion and calm spiriti which gives them value quite literally for doing nothing, now if you want to run a exhaustion perk on killer like blood echo you need to hook them first, thats not even a fair comparassion and its a 1 v 4 so even ontop of that that still would make 0 sense for the 4 to get instant value perks verses the 1 needed to work for said value AND keep in mind blood echo only works on injured survivors so thats another prerequisite to use it also
