The Onryo rework made her less fun to play as and against
I really liked the instant teleport to the TV’s. As I played her, I could chase someone without worrying about losing all gens in a min, because you could just teleport there instantly. Now everybody disables the TVs, because if the survivors don‘t, the condemned just makes them moriable.
Now when I play her I have to run and injure one, then go away and repeat it until everyone is injured.
The only thing the rework buffed was the condemned and that she is undetectable, when she is in her ability. And for the condemned thing I really don‘t want to teleport somewhere only to get higher stacks of condemned. I teleported (before the rework) to find people or to go to a gen, where I know the survivors will be. As it is now, survivor always need to get a tape and if they are unlucky and they want to remove the condemned and she finds them 2 times, when they try to lose condemned, she moris them. I also liked that the tapes worked as counter to deactivate the TVs and it was totally fine.
I think it would also been a good buff if she would move faster in her other mode and that she could switch it faster. The change that she is undetectable in her ability is a ok. Also that you don‘t get stunned from pallets in her mode is good too.
She was my favorite killer, because of the instant teleport, the cooldown and that the survivors have to disable the TVs now, makes her much less fun than before and ruined her for me.
I would also like if she just gets her old kit back.
What do you think?

Completely agree. I have no idea what BHVR was thinking with the rework. The biggest complaint from survivors with the old version of Onryo was when killers forced condemn with a condemn playstyle. For Onryo's it was TV cool-downs being too long.
So what does BHVR do? They buff condemn but nerfed the fun mobility part of her kit making condemn playstyles pretty much the only effective way to play her. The changes to condemn and tapes also mean survivors are doing tape runs a lot more often meaning she has much more limited access to her TVs and slapped her with an additional 10 second cool-down on top of the existing TV cool-down.
They literally reworked her in the worst way possible and made it less fun for both sides. I seriously hope BHVR will consider undoing the rework. I used to play Onryo 80% of my killer matches but now its maybe 5% because she just is NOT fun to play anymore. Her entire strategy now revolves around the most unfun playstyles of slugging and tunneling tapes to force condemn instead of the fun fast-paced macro teleport gameplay she used to have.
You either get easy wins now because of the condemn buff or get destroyed even harder by skilled swf due to the nerfs to the rest of her kit. It is horribly balanced and unhealthy for the game. Not to mention unrewarding as a killer to play. Old Onryo took skill to pull off condemn moris and skill to take advantage of her macro play. Now you just press a button every 10 seconds and keep tabs on where people are as you hit tapes and eventually someone will get full stacks. Incredibly dull gameplay compared to what she had before.
I beg of you BHVR, do the right thing and undo it. You had all the negative feedback on the PTB and forced it through and people still hate it. Just admit you made a mistake please.

People who don't enjoy fighting with her are basically people who can't find joy in improving in the game.
Sadako battles are very fun for those who want to become a survivor who can coordinate with solo players, have good preliminary movements, and make good use of pallets and windows.

I really don‘t think it‘s an improvement. You see now, that sadako is played less than before. I saw her in 20 games once and now I play almost never against her. On survivors side I don‘t think it’s more fun than before, I personally hate it to take the tapes only to avoid the condemned and when you are in a very good team, she can‘t do much, shure then she is fun for you, because she has almost nothing except of her condemned now.

I also hope to get the old version back, but I think behavior wouldn‘t do that, because they spent time and money for the rework.

I agree! I had so much more fun with builds that were more suitable pre-rework (and slugging one is not one of them). I really wish we could go back and just keep the part of pallet stuns not working while demanifested.

Yeah. Once they make a decision they are very resistant to change. Sometimes this is a good thing but sometimes its a bad things. The PTB revealed a lot about the flaws of the design and how it would make the game less fun but they forced it through anyways. Maybe in a year or two after a long stream of complaints BHVR might look into her again.
The Onryo rework is one of the worst things BHVR has done in recent memory for me. Really takes the energy out of playing dbd sometimes. I'll get on to have a few fun Onryo matches but after a few games my enjoyment is just slowly drained away as I remember how much more fun she used to be, how she didn't used to have a double cool-down, and how I didn't used to have to play dirty in an unfun way to keep up with survivors. It just is frustrating and depressing and after a few games I just go play Pig or something. Its really upsetting the rework ruined the enjoyment of playing my main for me.

She's great at destroying uncoordinated SoloQ players who struggle to find TVs, and that's about it. Not enjoyable to play against at all.
