What would everyone say to a "Surrender" or "Concede" option for the Killer role?

I play a lot of killer games where there seems to be no "right" options. Usually it's after a relatively tough game, and either I tunneled in late game to try and get some pressure as a last resort, or have been chasing all game with almost no hooks. Yes, while I'm aware this is more a skill issue than anything else, I feel like I shouldn't have to wait the 3+ extra minutes waiting for the survivors to be done t-bagging at the exit and waiting as long as possible for me to come and hit them out the gate. If the EGC is active and I haven't gotten any closer to downing someone, what reason is there for me to not be able to just leave the game and hand them the win at that point? Let me throw in the towel and go next, the frustration of such difficult games makes it so difficult to keep my head in the game and actually improve.

For a little added context, I've been told that the main reason I get to the endgame so fast is because I'm bad at chase, so I bring chase perks and addons (sometimes I'll run some slowdown). Games go by super fast, so I just go afk for the last 3+ minutes when I lose. There's no actual point to chasing survivors in the endgame without endgame perks, and even then they hardly make a difference unless you're a 1-tap killer because of survivor's endgame perks.

I mean, survivors shouldn't have their "surrender option" in the first place. I would not give killers the option to ***** out when I know how survivors abuse it.

*90% of the forum on their way to defend going next on survivor even though they are biased and know nothing outside of dbd*

    XDDDDDDDDD.

Not going to happen, but it'd certainly be nice to have.

The endgame of DbD is one of its weakest aspects when it is a clear 'win' for one side or the other.

As killer, if the survivors are still alive, you have no choice but to either surrender or camp the hook and hope they screw it up.

As a survivor, when you survivors are dead and one is slugged you have no choice but to either or surrender and hope the killer can't find you.

Both are boring and I wish they'd address both sides of it.

    They do... it's called disconnect.

    Just disconnect

Killers should have the option to open the gate and start the EGC whenever they want. Not only after all gens are completed.

Surrender poll for survivors and separate surrender option for killer should be a thing after 10 minute mark. Past that time you can tell if you’re having a fun and engaging game or you just want to be done with it and move on.

Maybe balance a game so neither survivors or killer had a desire to surrender in the first place?

Lol good way to ruin the game, I keep getting spineless disconnecting killers, imagine with your system... first chase too long> open gate, bad map> open gate, survivors using flashlight/sabo/anything>open gate

if anything they need to stop survivors from suiciding in first stage not allow it for both sides, just play the game lmao

Its mainly to avoid hostage situations. Where the last 2 survivors hide for ages without doing gens. Which gets really boring.

But i agree on the second part. Suiciding shouldn´t be possible.

Had quite a lot of killers this year who can't even get a hook an dc or give up feels bad man.

when i play in swf ill message my mates to just hurry up an leave but if its in solo que i can't control my random team mate tea bagging the killer refusing to leave till the last second.

but i think overall give up features i don't think are best solution for either side i'm not sure what the solution is

I remember a video a killer player posted the last time DC penalties got disabled where they disconnected on map load every game until they got the map they wanted. I fear killers would treat it as a "DC with no penalty" or a "reroll for better RNG" button and everyone's queues would feature a bunch of remakes
