This reminds me of a post where somebody got a 4k with just lightborn and said it proved lightborn was OP (obv a joke) and nobody in the match had a flashlight.

Yeah I wouldn't bother using it on Freddy lol he doesn't have a terror radius in the dream world, so UW won't work then, and most survivors don't bother getting out of their dream state because there's no point (Freddy still has a lullaby so you know when he's around).

Giving Freddy Oblivious was a mistake. All it does is prevent him from using certain perks.

I think the real problem is that many people don't know how Freddy works anymore. I have seen maybe 2 Freddys in a month.

actually there is. You can mindgame (even in chase) with your teleport for pretty good result.
Sure. Freddy is still underwhelming and is one of the weakest killers in game. But it does not mean he has no power at all

Freddy pretty much is the worst killer in the game. After the trapper-buffs im almost certain of it.
His "power" if you can consider it a power, makes survivors oblivious while he still has a lullaby. The teleport takes a ton of time and even if you fake it, you have a cooldown for that.
Dream pallets make you the worst killer in the game period.
Snares are awful as well. Especially with MfT going around right now.
His "power" isnt there at the start and thanks to adrenaline it also isnt there at the end.
All killers can push survivors into scenarios where they struggle. Except Freddy.
He has no early game, no mid game and no end game either. His kill rate presumably comes from soloq survivors that dont know how to loop an m1 killer.
Sorry to disappoint.
This doesnt mean hes an instant loss, as you can see by my screenshot. Freddy does have his upsides. That being: Hes small and has dark clothing, which is awesome for mindgames and is very quiet. But even in that regard, Pig is straight up better.

The stronger killers. Because they have enough lethality to end chases quickly. Therefore their problem is more eto find survivors and getting in chases fast.
On weaker killers, info is heavily outclassed by slowdown- and chase related perks.

And don't forget if a survivor is awake then his chase power only works AFTER you hit them. So if you're chasing an awake injured survivor, you pretty much have to down them without using your power.
And that's not even considering alarm clocks which make them immune to his already mediocre power for 30 seconds!

Some people here and on youtube make this perks seem like a "just slap on - insane value" - kind of perk. This is not the case, as it doesn't work that well on a bunch of killers. Freddy being the extreme example.

Demo, dredge etc any killer with some mobility really, it can also be nice to just immediately find a guy you want who is on deathhook etc.
