Inner Focus should be mapwide
As it is currently it's just a much worse Bond (and Bond is free).
You should be able to see the killer's aura from any point of the map. And it'll be only buff for solo as you'll know who the killer is early on if you're not first chase. SWF already knows this information before anyone even gets injured.
EDIT: the duration of the killer's aura should also be increased from 5 secs at tier 3 to 10 seconds. As it is right now it doesn't even help you position for a flashlight save cause killer's attack animation already lasts close to 3 seconds. So you only have 2 seconds left, and if your teammate threw a pallet then they'll also break the pallet, making the aura effectively useless.

I think the same should be true for TVs against Onryo. You should be able to see them mapwide at all times (whether you have a tape in your possession or not) after the ridiculously nonsense buff she got where she could kill just for teleporting like a mindless moron. How the hell is this not a thing after the BS change they made to her?

I still don't know why they haven't made it mapwide yet. The aura reading is so bad, and it's such an easy change.

Not a fan of map-wide aura-reading but its range really needs a boost, bump it up to 48m - 56m.
On a side note, I also want Self-Preservation's range increased too.

Inner Focus seems like a perk that would maybe benefit solo survivors. SWF already gets its info for free, so it being mapwise doesn't really hinder the killer much. The only thing it would succeed in is maybe give you info on who the killer is when your teammate gets injured, since not every killer is recognizable at the start.
And even in that case it would still be super weak imo. Bond is way better compared to it, and the aura reading doesn't last long enough to maybe help you position for a flashlight save. Actually bump at the aura reading to 10 seconds perhaps.
Those two changes would definitely improve it a lot imo.

i know why. it is because the perk is hard-counter legion. you see, every time legion hits someone, his aura becomes revealed so if you saw legion, you could perfectly plan out the route where legion can never get 5 hit combo.
what prevents perk from being effective is 32 meter limit. perks that hard-counter core components killer powers are often put with drawbacks to make them not do that or straight up do not work(e.g No mither countering Oni's demon fury by not dropping blood, Yui's Lucky break perk), Small game & Trapper.

That would require you already are well spread out, which isn;t always the case and most games on average people are still grouping up against legion and doing gens in teams, plus a lot of maps are smaller than they used to be and the other maps are getting even smaller, which is indirectly a buff to Legion.

I agree, this change wouldn't hurt at all... The perk barely does something in its current state so any buff it could get would be helpful. This would be like Alert but function differently which is cool.

I mean you can also prevent legion from getting a 5 hit combo just by running away the second you hear the terror radius. Inner Focus isn't going to make a huge difference I think. Knowing where Legion is won't help you if you're already badly positioned. It'll be pretty effective but that isn't the case for just Legion, it'll be good against any snowball-type killer.
Small Game was a different story. It specifically made finding Bear Traps and Phantasm Traps easier. Getting a hit is shared between literally every killer, it doesn't directly target Legion like Small Game targeted Trapper and Hag.
No Mither doesn't prevent you from dropping Blood Orbs btw, and never has.
I don't think the aura reading duration needs to be increased though, just the range.

your heavily missing my point. i am saying that these perk are examples of "possible" interactions that make sense with killer ability but do not work that way for sole reason to not have perks that counter specific powers.
Inner focus is not good perk but the perk would shine in exactly against that one killer power only if it was global and worked off hits instead of healthy ->injured.
i am saying that inner focus allows you to plan spreading out when a hit happens vs legion. 5 second aura reading for every other killer is just irrelevant. I am not sure at what point would I consider using this perk for aura reading on-hit vs other killers. Maybe if it was 30 second of wall-hacks is when I would consider this perk valuable vs every killer. At that point, the aura reading is long enough that it would become mini old OoO assuming global+ the perk works on every hit.

It amazes me how people fail to understand how much condemn BS you get when you're holding a tape and get hit, which is very likely if she's teleporting back and forth every 10 seconds. Add some perks that tell you where survivors are and she can easily teleport to them and get easy hits. Very dumb comment. Go play against her on Gideon and try doing that and have the honesty to tell me that it's fair. Especially when all or most of the team spawns in the same damn area and start fighting for tapes, which is counterintuitive to the way the game is supposed to be played.
We've gotten to the point where killers get to kill for doing brainless activities that have nothing to do with finding, injuring or hooking survivors and only have to injure/down them once after the kill meter is full from doing such activities. This would've never passed muster for a killer or their abilities back before killers for players who suck at killer & could care less about getting good at the game became a thing like it did from Nemesis onward.

By the time you get stacks from being hit that many times with a tape, you would have been hooked like 5 times lol
If she hits you with the tape and teleports away, your teammates should have tapes on them too and if she goes to chase someone else with a tape, just grab it
Condemn strat on Gideon was a lot better before her buff since it would just be spam with iri tape & ring drawing, never hook anyone just keep teleporting to tvs and spread more condemn with ring drawing
However, both iri tape and ring drawing have been rightfully nerfed
