Survivors should have an "anti-snow ball" base kit feature
One idea I thought of was the ability for two survivors in the "dying" state if they meet to be able to heal and just be injured.
I tried to simulate this in the games I played by observing snow ball situations, and it appears to be very situational, as it depends on whether the killer wants to leave the survs on the ground or have another surv in the"dying" state nearby, in certain situations perks like"unbreakable " would still be more useful, but it would be an additional option against killers who want to end the match right from the beginning, leaving the survs on the ground without hooking

"against killers who want to end the match right from the beginning"
Oh so i've to wait until a specific moment before i can play ? Like i have to wait until the gates are open or what ?

Survivors should have base kit
- Anti-tunneling
- Anti-camping
- Anti-too long chasing
- Anti-gen camping
- Anti-exit gate camping
- Anti-slugging
- Anti-focusinOnJustTwoSurvivors
- Anti-HealingSlowness
...

Snowballing doesn’t mean “slug everybody”.
Also, no. No more basekit stuff.
22 -
Or just equip Unbreakable or Boon (like Exponential) by yourself.
Both sides have massive snowball factors by how they play, perks they use, good decisions.
Adding more and more basekits just kills fun of variables and make game dull.

Just use unbreakable brother.
2 -
I'd rather say... slugging everybody is not the only kind of snowballing.
My dream celebrity survivor!

While we're at it, Survivor should permanently keep their haste and endurance buff until the Killer hooks someone else. That'll teach those mean Killers to tunnel.
1 -
Two sides to every match, so as long as killers get anti snowball, as well!
1 -
Killers have had their anti-snowball mechanic since 2017.
1 -
Survivors really just don't want killers to be able to ever win.
10 -
Some people really need to be babied, huh. If one side snowballs, they played better. Skill issue, git gud.

I mean adding basekit mechanics can give the game more depth, I don't think this particular idea is good though... But besides that, adding side objectives, adding basekit mechanics that get rid of unfun or too easy to do stuff on both sides seems not to be the worst idea, putting it on perks however is horrible...
I mean, why would we not want to add stuff to the basekit? There is so much cool stuff we could add to it that gives more interaction, more decision making and so on and so forth. I mean changes to the basekit of the game in the sense of new modi or new interaction are always welcome, for example this haunt world we have during the event is something that could be utilised, ofc not in the way it is currently, because it offers barely an incentive for the killer to ever go down there... But I'm sure there is a fun thing to do with the concept of having a map in the map... And in general basekit stuff that closes the gap between swf and solo is always welcome in my mind as well, a ping system, a chat wheel, a voice chat, whatever it may be... Because then we have a level we can balance around.

I thought with a downed survivor underneath the hook the afc timer stops? Doesn't it? Did that get changed?
If not it should be somewhat possible to contest that...

Let me see if I understand, just with slug you can kill? I thought the right thing to do was to kill by hooking the survs

I used to joke that someday survivors would claim that the killer being able to M1 and attack survivors was OP and toxic and BHVR should remove it from the game.
Every post I read in this forum lately confirms to me that everyday we are closer to that moment.
5 -
Don't know why everyone's crapping on this idea so harshly. It is a neat thought to be able to crawl to someone else on the floor and attempt to patch up their wounds.
3 -
Maybe I'm just jealous of them, hehehe, I didn't even think about this idea to buff surv or nerf killer, I thought about these ideas to avoid toxic killers who don't want to put survs on the hook when they run out of resources to get up
0 -
But I'm not asking for a nerf or buff with this feature, the idea is to eliminate the exploid of killers who leave their survs on the ground and don't want to engage due to toxicity, it has nothing to do with killers being strong or anything like that.
2 -
Serious? why didn't you use lightborn against locker safe instead of asking the devs to nerf it?
0 -
I'm not asking for a buff for the survs, I'm just wanting them to remove the exploit that the killer wants to leave on the ground without hooking, usually the killer drops two and puts them on the hook, that's ok, but killer who wants to drop 3 or 4 survs without hooking It's because you're trying to be toxic, I explain things, but you don't seem to want to understand
1 -
Survivors should be able to start a custom match with no killer.
7 -
It's not that people don't understand, it's that slugging isn't an exploit and snowballing isn't a problem, it's a play style. Taking away the killer's ability to snowball via slugging is absolutely a nerf, and not one that's needed.
See thing thing is, there's counterplay to slugging. You can position yourself under a pallet and recover, and there's always a chance that someone will go and save you while the killer is chasing someone else, after all, there's only 1 killer and 4 survivors. If one of those 3 remaining survivors doesn't go to save you while you're slugged, then that's a skill problem.
There was no skill or counterplay to the old locker saves. You couldn't grab survivors and you couldn't hurt them. Your only answer if you didn't have lightborn was to walk away. That's why that had to go. The devs have to at least pretend like they care about the killer's experience sometimes.
5 -
"Exploid of killers who leave their survs on the ground". That you consider that an exploit says it all.
4 -
And you're wrong, hooking is ONE way to kill survivors, bleeding to death is another way and few killers also have the option to mori survivors directly without hooks
1 -
But even in the slowed down version it is basically so slow you can camp a full stage without giving them the ability to self unhook...
0 -
Unironically agree. Same for killer and no survivors. It would be nice to get footage for whatever's needed or just to explore new maps and experiment with how you would run tiles.
0 -
I'm not sure how this could be implemented without being either too situational or unfair.
The thing about snowballing is it can be because survivors as a group made mistakes which they should be punished for. It isn't just about being slugged.
If you take a closer look to basekit stuff survivors got like BT and AFC you're going to realize that it's always a situation where they don't have control or aren't given a chance to counterplay. Like being able to instantly downed by killer if unhooker didn't have BT or facecampers like Bubba making unhooks impossible and there's nothing you can do about it. I don't feel like snowballing falls into this category.

The locker issue still exists, the survivor just has to spam exiting and entering a locker. That forced the killer to do a grab animation that doesn't count as opening and grabbing a survivor. That animation still allows a blind save.
0 -
Nobody asked for the locker flashy saves to be removed but that aside why do we need an "anti snowball" feature when there plentiful perks and items to bring to deal with it anyway? Some examples would be nice.
1 -
I still think you didn't understand the idea (maybe because I'm stupid and don't know how to explain it) I have nothing against snowball killers, but you need to recognize that some killers take advantage to play in a toxic way, if you don't recognize this, either you are a main killer boy, or you like exploits and only win through cheating
I'll try to explain calmly: my idea is that if a fallen surv finds another fallen surv, he can heal that surv to get him back up, If you stop to think about it, there are two survivors on the ground, the killer just puts them on the hook, this idea of mine is much better than the idea that the devs wanted to do with the Unbrakble base kit, which was a significant nerf for the killers, but in general, the killers take down the surv and put them on the hook
The only killer that could really be harmed by this mechanic would be the twins, but this could even be done by a surv that was standing, in addition, fallen survivors are slow and would take a while to find themselves.I'm not looking to nerf killer, a game needs a killer, but that won't harm him like it would with the "unbreakble" base kit, for me if it had a feature where the survivor could bleed to death it would be even better, but then killer would appear complaining that he can't hook the survs because of this, see if you can understand

Anti-downing and anti-hooking too, don't forget those
2 -
Yeah the last one makes basement camping still an issue, because it does not really matter that you don't need to facecamp them when there is only one entrance.
0 -
With all the safety nets and base kit things they added to survivor. If you end up in a situation like this then there is nothing they can impliment to help you other than a "I win" button when you are losing. Unironically a skill issue at this point with everything survivors have.
2 -
It's because of this kind of thing that I said survs should be able to heal others when they are on the ground.
Nurse placed all the survs on the ground and walked around the map without wanting to hook up.
2 -
Put a link to the VOD, because I see a flashlight, and in my experience flashlight + few hooks + no gens done + snowballing means they were a bully squad that failed miserably and the killer finally decided that if they didn't want to get hooked, he was not going to hook them.
Besides, this is the real solution to this "problem":
1 -
this game is all about snowballing lol are you ok? it's the core of the game, killer can't win if he doesn't kill quickly.
