Switch Performance During Event
Switch is really running slow during this event. Every map is running terribly. I've never seen it this bad. I play on a wired connection. This is borderline unbearable.

For me, it is. We really need cross-progression, because at the rate they add new chapters the switch port wont hold up.

Yeah, performance declines each chapter and I've literally spent hundreds of dollars on this game.

Your best bet is start over on PC. That's what I did and it's like a different game, it's so smooth, responsive, fast, crisp, clear, high fps. I know it's not ideal but I started over on PC (everything is on sale right now), and I won't even go back to playing on PS4 Pro, even if all my stuff is on there. The game runs so bad compared to PC.

I'm not a PC guy. I have 4100 hours on Switch, P100 characters, Stranger Things and all cosmetics for Steve and Nancy. I can't let that go. I wish I could transfer it to a PS5.

I had more than double your hours when I started over. Until Behaviour implements cross progression, you have to start over if you want a better experience. Dead by Daylight hasn't ran smoothly on my PS4 since the Resident Evil update 2 years ago. There's full controller support on PC if you don't want to play on mouse and keyboard so you can't use that excuse.
