Everyone - Would You Trade in LP for MFT?
If you could have Made for This removed from the game in exchange for Lethal Presuer, would you take the deal?
Please note in this hypothetical, neither perk ever gets buffed nor nerfed ever. Both stay exactly as is forever.

Not a killer main, but if it was the only way to ensure MFT gets changed, then from a killer perspective yes Iโd take the deal. Lethal is a good perk but itโs nowhere near MFTโs level.

Nah, I love lethal AND I love MFT. Lol
8 -
Yeah, MFT doesn't hurt me that much as killer, and likewise, Lethal isn't that impactful to me as a survivor. I like em both.

Lethal is definitely not on the same level as MFT ( i think Ultimate Weapon would be more comparable) but sure lol

Yay!!! I got the answer I wanted finally ๐

isn't lethal pursuer more of quality of life perk for killer? your compared quality of life perk for killer vs best looping perk on survivor currently in the game. killer would trade any perk for MFT because none of killer perk are on MFT level. not even most popular perk being SC:Pain res.

With all due respect, I'm not comparing the two. I'm just asking if they would trade or not.
0 -
trade Made For This with Ultimate Weapon
2 -
If it means no hatchets thrown at me 2 seconds into a match then sure...make it a deal.

Another correct answer ๐

Nah, Lethal is fine, as is MFT mostly. The only issue I have with MFT is being able to outrun the knight's guards. I run distortion on my survivor games so lethal just let's me know I need to get the hell away from my teammates when I hear the notification from distortion.

What the heck did lethal do, mft is infinitely stronger.
1 -
This does not answer the question!

Leathal is one of my most played perks, because I love to get into the thick of it asap and I would trade it in the blink of an eye for MFT getting nuked from the face of the game. You can throw in UW into the mix, nuke all three and I couldn't be more happy.
1 -
Id leave them both as is
If I were to change either of them how ever, is make MfT cause Exhaustion after healing a Survivor, and Lethal to have a reduced time at the start of the match
1 -
I would trade MFT for 5 second DS stun to come back
1 -
No. There shouldn't be a deal. MFT should be nerfed, and there should be zero compensation for the survivors.
There have been SO MANY TIMES where survivors got a game change in their favor, and BHVR didn't compensate killers. For example, killers were not compensated for the Survivor HUD, they weren't compensated for hook grab removal, and they weren't compensated for anti-face camp. This means that there should be game updates where killers get a game change in their favor, and BHVR doesn't compensate survivors.

No, because I do not believe it is an equivalent trade.
2 -
No deal! Killers can keep Lethal and I'll continue to bring Mft and we can settle things in the middle of the map when we spawn in. ๐๐

Let's hope that the devs read this and it gets lots of up votes!

This sounds a little off. Survivors have had healing nerfed into the ground. Anyway, I play both roles and you seem like you could be cool if you weren't upset. I'm going to move you into the "maybe" category ๐

Self-healing was nerfed, not regularly healing. In fact, they boosted medkits to heal your teammates faster.
0 -
They nerfed medkits and COH, I should have been more specific.

Every MfT is the absence of a Sprint Burst, so I like MfT as Killer. Every Lethal Pursuer is an afk punishment, so I like Lethal Pursuer as Survivor.
Knockout is arguably the perk most deserving of an alteration. Similarly maybe Teamwork: Power of Two and/or Blood Pact are probably the most deserving of an alteration on Survivor side. All of those perks make SWFs stronger, and soloq weaker. Not a good thing to encourage.
0 -
Interested in your opinion on how power of two makes soloq weaker? Isn't that the perk that let's two survivors who finished a gen together get a 5% repair speed for 75 seconds?
0 -
Agreed. DS is useless against DeathSlinger now.
0 -
I would take the deal I get there stuff like Hope which gives a speed boost when not injured but that's also at the very end of a match plus I won't lie I think MFT really makes hit detection wonky even though on my screen I connected the hit but somehow it misses and the survivor gains distance.

The deal does not include Hope. Would you trade LP for MFT? OR, leave both as they are forever?

Friendly Competition is the gen one, and that also nerfs Survs. You spend ~53s at 85% efficiency just to get 105% solo or 90% duo efficiency on the next timeframe. Deja Vu's 6% unconditional boost and timeframe is almost exclusively better. (There is an argument that you duo the gen that you spawn on, and both of you solo gens after that, but it takes too long to reach gens that won't 3 gen you for that to be worth it. Deja Vu ensures you always work on the current best 3 gen for the boost.)
Power of Two is the 5% haste if the 2 people stay within 12m of each other post-heal. Soloq will throw to meme with this, and SWFs will only do it for the tunnel victim. Even then it kinda is still throwing to stay 12m from each other that whole time.

Survivors were originally planned to have nerfed healing speeds to ALL forms of healing, in exchange for killers having their gen regression/slowdown perks heavily nerfed.
Guess what happened???!??? Survivors complained so much that the altruistic healing speed nerfs got reverted, which WIDENS the gap between solo q and SWF..... but killers still got their gen regression/slowdown perks heavily nerfed.

I really do miss 200% Hex Ruin. I got my 1st 4k using that perk on Christmas morning a few years ago as The Shape. The final Survivor was Laurie on the Gideon meat plant. She was good. I thought she was going to get the hatch, but I got her just in time.

Lethal isn't even a problem perk, it shows where survivors are at the start of the match and providing no other benefit unless you use other perks and addons that reveal auras, which you could just fill up with slowdown instead. I think its fine since the perk is almost exclusively synergistic wanting you to sacrifice other perk and addon slots to just get information longer.
MFT on the other hand has 1 broken effect and 1 good effect
Id rather just change mft so that the game didn't have easy to use haste perks
1 -
Hard disagree. LP allows you to tunnel a Survivor out of the match instantly. I despise that perk. Anyway, would you take the deal?
0 -
Tunnel a survivor out of the match instantly.......
You mean start an early chase? The first chase isn't tunneling, in fact nothing until after a survivor gets unhooked could even be classified as tunneling which then afterword since its a heavily overused phrase depends on who you ask. Ive never heard of tunneling before someone gets hooked before this is a first for me
3 -
I'm sorry I was not clear. You can target them instantly, down hook, proxy camp, tunnel. This happens to me a lot when that perk is used. Does it make sense what I'm talking about now? Like you see my aura, you hook me first and then tunnel. That's what I meant.
0 -
I don't use either. So i say no. I can handle both.
0 -
I mean I get it but, that happens to anyone regardless of if the perk is used or not, and if you just throw on another passive slowdown to cover for you instead it would have the same effect, this just covers a symptom of a problem rather than a problem itself which I don't think lethal deserves, while MFT itself is problematic and not just a symptom.

You are supposed to be my friend. After all we've been through with the BOTS. Yes, separate trials but we feel each other's pain ๐ข
0 -
Ok but this is just a hypothetical. If I was the dbd wizard and could make mft disappear completely would you be for it if it costs LP?
0 -
I'm sorry ๐ I still stand in solidarity with you over the bot plight
0 -
BOT Claudette wouldn't heal me. I died. She went afk at the killer shack, got 3 crows and hauled ass when the killer showed up.
1 -
Nope just because its an unfair trade
1 -
Wow, Survivors really got the short end of the stick there if that truly was the case. PR is better 1-6 hooks (when it matters most, as a 3v1 is a free win with gens remaining, and 6 hooks means 2k, 1k, or 2 on death hook), Pop is better at 67 gen seconds (which is most often the hotly contested gens), and medkits have no meaningful diversity.
That is unless you were counting the likes of OC/CoB/Eruption, then that's just silly. A literal (non-human) animal could win matches understanding how to use a spacebar due to those perks being so overtuned.
1 -
๐คฃ I think that's a bottom of the barrel bot. Worst I've ever seen.
1 -
Nah.
I run MfT as Survivor and I really like to run Lethal Pursuer on most of my Killers (I even liked the Perk before it was buffed). Both probably have things which can be removed (Endurance for MfT, the extra seconds for Lethal Pursuer), but I would not really want to trade anything.
Let alone that this is not the purpose of Buffs or Nerfs. If one side gets a Nerf or Buff, the other side does not have to get a Nerf or Buff either (called "compensation" here...). And obviously, if a side gets a Nerf they dont need a Buff to "compensate" for the Nerf.
1 -
We absolutely do include OC/CoB/Eruption in the trade. They were massively powerful, and got heavily nerfed.
The only thing we learned from this update, is that most people really don't care about the gap between solo q and SWF, and they only complain about the gap when they want survivor buffs. There were SO MANY PEOPLE that were completely happy with shoving the healing speed nerf disproportionally onto solo q. Seriously, where were the "what about solo q" arguments, when people were suggesting that only self-healing speeds should be nerfed?
0 -
Deal. I prefer Sprint Burst or Lithe over MFT, and I dislike how Lethal Pursuer essentially removes the early game phase of hide & seek.
1 -
Correct answer my friend!
1 -
We're going with nope. We like people whining about MFT for every reason under the sun to much to consider losing that source of entertainment. Its crazy to see each and every day.
