Blight add-on changes
In all seriousness though what is the over under and how much longer they will remain unchanged?

Agreed, they need changes. Some of his addons need buffing.

Obviously in the eyes of BHVR Blight is fine. Accept it.

Their track record shows that this is more likely than them nerfing the Add Ons.

Nah. Companies reverse course all the time. He will get nerfed one day.

Blight probably avoids nerfs for the same reason Billy randomly got nerfed to oblivion. Egos get involved with these things. Devs are human.

Fine you win, please buff Placebo Tablet to 200% bonus bp

If we are talking about the meme addon, then I would be fine with it not nerfing him quite so hard but apart from that, which of Blight's addons need buffs? Half of them are problematic because they make him way too strong. The addons themselves wouldn't all be quite so overpowered, if Blight's base kit wasn't this strong. But a killer that is on the very edge of being broken can't have addons this powerful on top.

I was only joking. Lol
I know he’s got some busted addons.

They could make his two learning add-ons actually useful. c7 is the worst add-on in the game, not even close and it's supposed to help people learn him. Monocle is just plain inaccurate, the range is off by a few meters and it deceives newer blights into thinking they'll actually collide with something.

Basekit Alch Ring when?

This is the ONLY change that should be talked about and supported. 💅🏼

The only addons that need changing are Alc ring and c33. Blight takes quite a bit of skill to play especially against good teams that know how to flare out against lethal rushes , crouch at right times to avoid lethal rush hits and pre throw pallets accordingly, it’s just waiting for your power to recharge after you’ve missed a hit to try again and hopefully 1-2 gens don’t get done per retry. I think there are ALOT of terrible maps for Blight, I think it’s below 2% of all blight players who actually know how to use proper bump logic to down good survivors, nobody that’s good with Blight will run alc ring over blighted rat and crow anyways. I also can confidently say that 90% of survivors don’t know how to play against a good blight.
Like I said until people have actually gotten decent with blight and played against good survivors you’ll see how much skill it honestly takes to time lethal rush hits against them. Hug teching is a terrible way to play blight because all the survivor that has half a brain cell is going to do is just run away from the tile and circle around a small object forcing the blight to either time a tricky flick around that object or recover and wait until the charges come back giving the survivor distance to another pallet/tile.

We do not have an ETA, I'm afraid. This was briefly touched on during our last AMA by the Design Director, but I know that a "soon" answer isn't a favorite answer.
Q: Do you have any plans to adjust any blight addons? Many of them are quite strong, mainly alch ring, adren vial, and the speed addons.
A: We are looking into a Blight update for the near future. Unfortunately, nothing to share at this point - too many other things in the works lately, but the pinball champ is definitely on the list! -Matt

Maybe Soul Chemical...?

Yes and soul chemical. Add-on did literally nothing to being bugged for a patch to being op and then back to doing nothing. The consistency of the skill check prock is probably 1 in 8.

Be carefull what you wish for.
I have a feeling it will be way more than just "add-on pass".
