Cutting it a little close behavior. Could we have just one little hint at what the license is? Pretty please??

Why is no one considering option that there will be no new killer on current ptb? Yes, November is indicated in the roadmap, but anything could happen with a large license.

There has not been a single chapter in the regular cycle that did not include a killer.
Breaking it now, especially on a number like 30, would be very strange.

Wasn´t this licensed chapter so big, that they wanted to reveal it during a live stream?
That might be the reason why we haven´t seen a teaser yet. Just saying.

I expect something like what we had on the first RE chapter.
With no teasers, to keep the tension high.
I could be wrong though, since they´ve never done anything like that.

Yeah that isn't happening. That's a little too hopeful. xD Probably just reveal it outright similar to how they did Alien, but instead of a week before, it'll be the day before or day of ptb.

But then they at least told us that the chapter would be about resident evil +they made a reference for knowledgeable gamers in the form of the number 5 written in a font of resident evil 3 (well, at least at that time someone said so) And before that they released the executioner whose teaser was literally the number 4 on the anniversary banner
And now it's quite possible that they don't see the need for a teaser about everything, it immediately became clear that the killer would be a predator (if it's him) because of that alien skin, if it's a predator, then it's quite possible that that skin was a teaser.
Yes, I honestly thought that the lack of explicit teasers was due to the broadcast on the day of strange things....like there will be a teaser of the chapter.. but...does anyone know what was shown there?

New chapters are the most fun, the less the community knows about them. I mean, just look at some leaks we had a few years ago. They totally ruined the surprise/reveal for the community. Worst part even was, that every streamer suddenly felt the urge to share the news on the new killer. Almost impossible to avoid.
I really, really hope that the devs keep the secret tight and that they reveal it the same moment the ptb servers go live. That would be the best outcome for me. One can hope...
But we didn´t knew what we get from RE. That was a big franchise with a lot of possible killers.

Was it announced? I got the Stranger Things intro, but nothing's in the store and Hawkins isn't in the map choices? I'm sure it's 99.9% coming back, but was the intro an oopsie?

I've been hearing this a lot and no... They never said reveal.. They said with the RELEASE of Chapter 30 they will be doing a live stream, meaning when it actually hits live servers. So that will be 3 weeks from now. People hear what they want to hear I suppose.

At least the lack of an announcement makes sense now. Today is supposed to be a 'Stranger Things Day', right? So they wanted to bring back the chapter today specifically. But if the next chapter isn't ST-related, announcing it earlier and then pulling all the hype away to celebrate a different license wouldn't be so nice. Meanwhile, if it is ST pt. 2, then it also makes sense to let everyone enjoy the old content now, then surprise us with even more on Wednesday while everyone is still excited for the license.

Stranger Things pt.2 seems like a much bigger chance now and the likely candidate.
Predator was a strong possibility but I'm leaning more towards ST now. As mentioned above it'd be pretty weird to bring ST back right before a chapter release and have the killer not be related. It'd take massive hype away from the chapter while a pt.2 would only bring extra hype.
Saw pt.2 is still unlikely, the posts were almost certainly because of the movie.
I don't think it's FNAF. BHVR has never done a movie/Killer release in tandem. First time for everything I guess but still seems unlikely for this chapter.
Other Big L movies are Jason, IT, Candyman and Chucky which we have no reason to believe.
Indie wise there is Slender and Amnesia which again we have no reason to believe.
Bigger game wise there is RE pt.3 and maybe Fatal Frame? I'm not actually sure how popular that series is; only that there is a bunch of games. Again all unlikely.
I'm probably missing a few more big L's but that's most of the hot choices from memory.
My first guess now is ST pt.2 followed by Predator as my second choice. Everything else seems unlikely with what we know at least.

Stranger things pt. 2 is definitely up there in terms of likelihood, but I don't see ST as being iconic. I feel like Predator is the most likely answer, but I'll be happy with whatever it is as long as it isn't FNAF.

Now would be a good time to add FNAF because of the movie, but the best time would be for FNAF's tenth anniversary, which takes place next august. If we don't get FNAF in DBD then, then we simply never will
