What are these Killers doing?
I had 4 trials in a row where the killers were just watching survivors do generators and then leading us to the next one. They wouldn't hit us, much less hook us.
I'm all for a good farming experience, but what is the point of this? These killers got virtually no points! Why not max out their hunter and Deviousness categories?
I checked the endgame screen. The lowest killer was Prestige 11 so they know how to play the game. I just don't get this.
I also ran a bloody Partystreamer all 4 matches! So it was a waste as survivors only got some objective points.
Thoughts?

Tanking their MMR as efficiently as possible would be my guess.

Yep, dropping MMR to get out of sweat land.

They gave up.

Killers don't want to play against survivors with insane brightness settings and ADHD. They want chill and enjoyable matches.

I guess they were tired.

Smurfing. They don’t want survivors at their level; they want to face weaker players.

they were probably lowering mmr. or it might have been a map they don't like or a map offering and they already gave up in the loading screen. or it might be a farm attempt but survivors didn't seem interested.

But in doing that aren't all the Survivors MMR going up when perhaps they should have lost the match?

I rather take that than tunneling fest. I don't remember last game someone was not tunneled out. Feels im only killer not doing it at least sometimes. But I don't have luxury playing agains't soloQ. Im actually thinking doing just farming on killer to tank my mmr. But I don't know will that work as survivor I die and still get sweaty killers and probably even worse teammates.

Grade reset is in a couple of days, and it can be really, really unfun to raise grades in high MMR. Can't really blame this people, as all it takes to invalidate all your effort is three bad matches in a row. De-pipping is the biggest culprit that leads to sweaty games at the momen, even though its just 1million BP on the lane. Thats so wild to think about.

That is correct.
I don’t blame them one bit lol. Once I get into high gold and all through iri, I just run alch ring blight and full slow down so I can try and guarantee a double pip. Once I hit iri 1, then I go back to normal.

Exactly I do this sometimes particularly after having a bad match when I play killer. Some chill killers just like a break and perhaps don't need bp.

They are doing the killer equivalent of suiciding on hook.

Many people said tanking MMR but they could also be farming XP. XP is based on time in the match and nothing else so if they're trying to catch up on the rift they could be doing that.
They got rid of AFK farming for XP so anyone that wants to do that now has to at least move around a bit which sound like what they're doing.
Edit: As below mentioned, you also get shards from XP farming.

I know some Killers AFK for Shards so perhaps that as well.

I kinda do this on Blight, except I'll have 8 hooks at 4 gens, then throw survivors at hooks to simulate me hooking them, and keep doing it until their bleedout timer is almost empty, then I'll just smack them and let them work on gens. I typically end matches on Mac or Auto with 20-30 "hooks". I'll do this when it's obvious the survivors are babyish and I wanna have a fun game without necessarily ruining their gameplay.
Funny that despite this, BHVR considers this a loss and eats my MMR.

Avoiding complaints from survivors after game, avoid t-bags at gate. Lessen overall kill rates so killers won't be nerfed. Get out of higher MMR etc etc

Might be doing some mission, some of the mission are a pain unless you throw, for example i had to reverse basement Bubba to get the one where you close the hatch because i couldn't find it playing normally.

They're either dropping MMR or it's Killers trying to boost loss numbers by throwing.
