New exhaustion perk suggestion for survivor: Split Up On Gens
Split Up On Gens -
When another survivor comes within 4m of you while you are repairing a generator, Split Up On Gens activates for the next 10 seconds:
- See the aura of all generators not currently being repaired.
- When you start running, break into a sprint at 200% of your normal Running Movement speed for 5 seconds.
Split Up On Gens causes the Exhausted status effect for 60/50/40 seconds.
Split Up On Gens cannot be used while Exhausted.

The tactic "split up on gens" does not work for me in solo q.
I spawn near other survivors, so I leave the nearest gen to them.
When I start a gen, someone else shows up and I can't make them leave, so I have to leave.
Then I spend forever looking for a gen, finally find one, and then find another survivor already on it. (And that's if I don't get caught by the killer first.)
Then they get mad at ME because all they see on the HUD is me doing NOTHING for the first minute(s) of the match. 😔
Then when I finally get a gen to myself, they kite the killer to it because they're upset with me.

This can be annoying but if you're spending so much time looking for a gen without a survivor on it that your teammates sandbag you and you feel the need to have an exhaustion perk specifically for this it probably means you should just do the gen with your teammate(s).
Yes doing gens solo is more efficient but multiple survivors on one gen is still way more efficient than having one survivor run around the map to look for a gen to do alone.
If a survivor follows you as you leave the gen just take the L and stay on it, you'll waste a lot less time tbh. Personally the only times I insist on being alone is when I believe the killer has discordance, but otherwise it's just not worth it.

I like it. I feel chase-oriented exhaustion concept have been, well exhausted at this point. This is a neat way to include exhaustion for another purpose, for non-chase builds.
And it has two distinct uses. First to literally 'split up on gens', and secondly, if a survivor kites the killer to the gen you're working on, then you get a quick escape.

there is already perk like that. it is called sprint burst.
-Sprint burst buff
-Increased duration of sprint burst from 3 second to 4 seconds. [5 second is way too much for what OP is asking for]

One of the likely reasons why(besides not seeing you doing anything) is because some survivors, like me, want our bonus blood points that you mainly get from cooperative actions from working on the same gen or healing the same person. Without that bonus you tend to only get like 20-30k at most, but with that bonus you can get 40k easy. So not many people want to be "efficient" and rather get their bonus bp and such which is why I say that if you're gonna be playing with randoms then you shouldn't really be playing to be efficient and such.

Something that makes it easier to be gen efficient by splitting up would be great yeah.
Until that happens I would just roll my eyes, put up with the inefficiency of doubling a gen, be extra quick to leave if you hear a TR, and accept it as the tax you pay to not have your teammates sandbag you. If you escape enough of those games you should gradually get more and more people who know splitting gens is more effective.
