Remove DC penalty

I've had times where my pc randomly doesn't load right and mid match will reboot. Not me. Not ky fault. "Windows didn't load correctly"

Ok. So why is it when I am forced to reboot my pc I come back to 12 minutes of penalty like I did something?

Now that bots are in the game they need to remove it. Seriously. There's to many issues that come about in people's lives where quitting happens and it isn't a rage quit for this to still be a thing. And bow with bots survivors at least have a replacement.

So why is this still here?

    Making sure that your PC works properly is your part. And if you dont do that and get a Reboot or Crash, this IS actually your fault.

    Indifferent about removing the DC-Penalty. Bots are not useful at all, the Survivors dont get anything, it is still a 3v1 and the Killer has a cute little plaything to get value from. So unless they improve the Bots massively that they are actually somewhat useful, I would rather see people who DC being punished.

    Let alone that this would also mean that Killers can easily DC without Penalty.

    Until the devs implement Killer bots, the DC penalty is here to stay.

    I really hope they will never do that. It is a waste of time. When I look at the quality of Survivor-Bots, when you play against them in the Custom Games, the only things you can really do is get a feel for the Power or how certain Add-Ons work. But you cannot really improve at a Killer IMO, because the Bots are not good enough.

    And I dont really see Killer-Bots being able to play complex Killers. Sure, you might be able to play against a Trapper or Wraith, but I cannot really see Bots playing as Blight, Wesker or Nurse.

    (But sadly they work on Killer-Bots...)

    When you DC when it's not directly your fault (directly is important) yes, it happens. But if it happens twice or something, maybe your internet is just bad for some reason (and that happens, believe me I know) but you STILL insist on playing, DC penalty should apply. From time to time I involuntarily DC due to network disconnecting and I don't get anything close to 12 minutes. I don't even think it's a full minute.

    So the first couple DC penalties are not anything to write home about so you have wiggle room to account for stuff like that. But if you're getting 12-minute penalties you're DC'ing too much to the point where the others are intentional but failed to mention them in your post or you're computer/internet is proving to not be reliable, you're still choosing to play, and you shouldn't be playing unless you're willing to risk a DC penalty because its an issue you're aware you're having over multiple matches.

    I could be wrong tho, if DC'ing once ever results in a 12-minute penalty I have yet to see it myself.
